  1. They did. I was able to get it working eventually. It was user error not an issue with anything else.
  2. Has anyone had any success in getting this to work? I was recommended the 8BitDo Adapter 2 and it is about 95% of what I need. Everything works perfectly except for the C-Down button. No matter what I map it to nothing works.
  3. I had a similar issue a while back and it turned out the theme I was using (Retrofresh Detailed) was somehow interfering with the Pause Screen. I switched to a different one and haven't had the issue since. Could be a similar case?
  4. For a while I tried to have every version, but it just became unmanageable to my standards so I ended up trying to find the best version of each game. There is something satisfying when the total number of games for a platform in Launchbox matches the amount of files in the folder (aside from multi-discs of course). I usually go with whatever version Retroachievements supports. I will keep a duplicate of a game as a seperate entry if it has some interesting or significant difference like with Contra/Probotector. I only really keep prototypes or unreleased games if they are particularly interesting. On the other hand, I want just about any decent ROM hack or homebrew game. I got way into Game Boy homebrew recently.
  5. Yes, I sync my entire Launchbox folder. I have one PC in my office that I use to manage my games, and then one upstairs on my TV where I use Bigbox to play. When I set it up I just pointed the syncing to my existing setup and it grabs everything and mirrors it on the other PC. If you like you could also just sync your saves or other folders if that would be easier for you.
  6. I use Syncthing to to keep the same setup on both of my PC's. It works like a dream for what I need.
  7. My favorite is probably Muramasa: The Demon Blade. I remember seeing someone stream it way back when and I was so struck by it that I had to go buy it immediately.
  8. It depends. Yes for some arcade games but no for console or handhelds.
  9. I was able to solve this. It appears something with the theme I was using (Retrofresh Detailed) was interfering with the pause screen. Switching to just Retrofresh removed the problem.
  10. I am running Syncthing to duplicate my setup between two PC's on my network. On PC 1 everything works as intended. On PC 2 any time I attempt to go to the pause screen in Bigbox while in a MAME game I get a blank black screen. Any attempt to back out of this screen eventually leads to a not responding message and I have to restart the program. This only happens in MAME, all other emulators work as intended with the pause screen. The pause screen works as normal when launching from Launchbox. I have tried this with both default and PauseShift and got the same results. As far as I can tell this seems to be the only difference between my two setups.
