  1. Good catch, that's been fixed now
  2. Hi there, Thanks for providing the details! We’ve identified an issue with the Old Default theme and its compatibility with version 13.22. In short, it wasn’t properly updated to support the new progression markers, so it defaults to showing all games as completed — even though your actual data is correct. I’m attaching the issue report here. Please upvote it to follow along and get notified once it’s been fixed. In the meantime, the best workaround is to use a different theme or wait for the upcoming fix. Apologies for the issues there, regarding the changing view issue, can you confirm if that happens when using the current Default theme (not old default)?
  3. Hi there, Thanks for flagging this! Occasionally, third-party antivirus programs like Avast can incorrectly flag new versions of LaunchBox as threats (a false positive). We can assure you the installer is safe as long as it was downloaded directly from our site or through the update process within our app. Officially, we're only able to recommend using Microsoft Defender, as it’s the only antivirus we consistently verify compatibility with. If you’re using Avast, you may need to add an exception manually.
  4. Hi there, That logo isn’t related to RetroAchievements. It’s likely that the game in question was previously marked as Completed, which is now represented as Done / Mastered in version 13.22. The theme you’re using probably displays games in that state with that logo. If you change the game’s progress state, does the logo disappear?

  6. Hi there, Thanks so much for the report there and apologies for the delayed follow-up. I can confirm this is indeed a bug on our end, and we'll scoped this out to get fixed. You can view the report here: https://feedback.launchbox.gg/p/default-collection-missing-from-add-to-collection-popup-on-games Feel free to follow that post so you can be notified once it gets fixed. Thanks again for letting us know about this. Cheers,
  7. Yep, can confirm manuals can be viewed from a game's pause menu, both within LaunchBox or Big Box. While images themselves can't be viewed from the pause menu, if you add your additional PDFs as additional apps, then from within the pause menu you'll have an option for `additional documents`, which will let you view these in the same view you can view the manual.
  8. Agreed that it's nice to have the full suite of RetroAchievement's platforms now in the database, especially giving the exciting new RA improvements in 13.22. Regarding the names, apart from the Elektor TV Games Computer & Nintendo Switch 2, the other 3 are all fantasy consoles. In other words, homebrew projects without a dedicated development company like a Sony or Nintendo attached to them, so this is how they are generally referred to online and also on the RetroAchievements site. If you want to change the platform name, though, you can edit the platform's name within LaunchBox if you'd like to add some additional information to it.
  9. Hi Folks, We’ve just added five new platforms to the LaunchBox Games Database. Whether you’re building a modern collection or exploring homebrew gems, these platforms have been long overdue, with many more on the way: 🕹 Nintendo Switch 2 – Nintendo’s next-gen console is here, and we’re ready for it! Get a head start on organizing your Switch 2 library as the platform evolves. 🧩 WASM-4 – A WebAssembly-based fantasy console designed for tiny retro-style games. Perfect for devs and players who love creative limitations. 📺 Uzebox – An open-source 8-bit game console built around an AVR microcontroller. It’s a DIY dream for retro gaming enthusiasts. 🎮 Arduboy – A credit card-sized handheld with an open-source game library and a huge heart for minimalism and charm. 🧠 Elektor TV Games Computer – A blast from the past! This 1970s programmable system offered early glimpses of what home gaming could be. While the number of listed games for these platforms is low right now, we’re confident they’ll quickly fill out as the community begins submitting their entries. So get those entires in! 😊 With the addition of these platforms, the database now supports all currently supported platforms from RetroAchievements! We’ve got some exciting RetroAchievements updates coming in version 13.22—so now you can finally enjoy full support for all of these platforms in LaunchBox. Happy gaming! 🎮 — The LaunchBox Team
  10. Hi there, Thanks for reporting this. All licenses will be sent to the email that was provided at the time of purchase. 11. Hey folks — just a quick check-in from the mod team. We see things have gotten a bit sidetracked here — and a little more personal than they probably need to be. Because of this, we’ve cleaned up a few posts just to help keep the thread on track, but tried our best to keep the useful info intact. There’s been a lot of great info in this thread already, and we’d really like to keep it going. Sticking to the topic will help us do that, and we appreciate all the time, insight, and creativity that’s gone into this discussion. There’s clearly a lot of passion here, and that’s always great to see. Let’s all take a breath and keep it friendly. Healthy debates are totally fine — encouraged even — but if it starts feeling more like an argument than a discussion, it’s probably a good time to take a breather. Appreciate everyone keeping it cool and focused from here on out.
  12. Hi Folks, To close the loop on this, as of LB for Android 1.18, Video streaming functionality has been restored; however, please note that only video will be streamed at this time due to the limitations of YouTube Cheers,
  13. Feel free to DM me, so we can keep this thread on topic, however please note that accounts for the LaunchBox Forum, and the LaunchBox Games Database (which is also used to log into the feature request portal) are completely different. Unless you use the same username and password for both, please make sure you've actually got an account on the games database by going to https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/ DM me if that doesn't work and we'll troubleshoot further
  14. Hi there, thanks for the report here. This is a known issue due a recent change whereby EA has discontinued support for the API that LaunchBox previously relied on, breaking the importer. We have a known issue logged for this on our bug portal over here: - https://feedback.launchbox.gg/p/ea-importer-not-working We hope to have a workaround for this in an upcoming beta, so feel free to follow the issue there to be notified when it is addressed. Cheers,
  15. Just to close the loop here, this has been confirmed to have been resolved on the EmuMovies side and should be functioning properly. Give us a shout if you're noticing this again in the future Cheers,
  16. Okay, it would be good to verify that for sure, since that will rule out any issues with files being in that specific Y: location. As a test, can you also try using the .wad format (you can generate these from within Cemu), and see if that auto-imports correctly, as that will identify if the file format your using is somehow causing the issue Let me know
  17. The login for the feature request portal is the same as the one you use for the LaunchBox games database. When you choose to log in, it should redirect you to the games database to log in. Please make sure the account and password you're using are the same that you use to log in to the games database, and verify that you can log in over there. If that still doesn't work, let us know
  18. Right, and how do those platforms handle auto-imports? Is WiiU the only one that isn't auto-importing properly?
  19. Thanks for the report here. I've just testing this on 13.21 and WiiU roms do appear to import correctly, even with the games directory set to a location outside of the LaunchBox directory. May I confirm: - What file format are you WiiU games? - That Y: directory that you have listed for the WiiU games, are other platforms stored on that directory and do they auto-import properly? Let me know and we'll see if we can figure out why this isn't working for you.
  20. Hi folks, Just a quick update—we’ve scoped out a feature request for this over on our new feature request portal! If this is something you’d find useful, we’d love for you to head over, give it an upvote, and share any specific use cases or details that matter most to you. - https://feedback.launchbox.gg/p/set-launchbox-as-a-default-home-app-on-android Your feedback helps us shape what we build, so every comment counts! Cheers,

  22. Hiya, In RetroArch, if you go to Load Core > Download Core, you should see an option for Laserdisc Arcade Games (DirkSimple). Once you download it, you can specify it as one of the cores to use in RetroArch.
  23. We're hearing reports of issues with their API this weekend. It may be a case of needing to wait and try again later, but if it's still happening in a day or so, let us know and we'll see if there's anything deeper going on
  24. Hi Folks. Apologies for the radio silence on this thread — a few recent releases on our end have slowed things down a bit. That said, I want to reassure everyone that we haven’t forgotten about the platform requests that have been submitted. The good news is that our initial round of testing with the new backend system for adding platforms has gone well, and things are looking promising. We’re planning to start expanding support to more systems in the near future. In the meantime, to tide you over — and in anticipation of a little something happening on June 5th — we’ve gone ahead and added the Nintendo Switch 2 to the database. It’s still pretty barebones for now, of course, but we expect things to start filling out quickly once the 5th rolls around. For the moment, it’s mainly there for tracking purposes — especially for those who like to catalog their collections beyond just what's playable through LaunchBox. We’ll continue to keep you updated as more platforms get added. Thanks again for your patience and suggestions.
