can you provide me with the error you are getting? I am still busy with the image process, sometimes Launchbox uses a sub directory like North America I am still busy collecting all possibility's.
Yea no worries, im away in Fiordland this long easter weekend but once i get home ill update the plugin and test some stuff out and send you any bugs i come along.... this pluging is great bcoz it becomes a bit of an effort adding pc games n such via the Advance Launcher in kodi... but now with this plugin i can favorite my games and have them placed were ever i want... im using the xperience1080 theme BTW.

i use RocketLauncher to load all my games, so when i loadmy game i get a fade but then an error,not sure why, i might have a look into it when i get some time, also not all my games artwork is there even tho i have the artwork in BB, still tho this is a pretty cool addon consideringkodi is my main front end that i boot into at the moment until i build my arcade cab

Not at the moment.... but i geuss you can use "attract mode" to sort of select a random game.

I also use symlink and hardlinks to move my cache/other files i want to load quick to an ssd with out breaking directories... very useful

So here is a little bug/issue im currently having. I have your default platform categories but i also have pinball and lightgun games added to platform categories, well i can see them in BB but when i go to LB to delete them they are not listed there.... i presume its because i have not associated any systems to these categories so it doesn't show up in LB but it still does in BB.... how else can i delete these " invisible" platform categories?

Hmmm i wonder what causes the freeze/crash then. I sometimes leave my system run over night ( when i fall asleep tinkering with it
and plan to have my arcade cab setup at work to run most of the day. I dont recall attract mode crash in the past when i left my system running so i wonder whats changed.... possibly my theme im using or corrupt media??

My attract mode also crashes eventually as well.... ill try wmp tonight and see if that fixes it.

I have some how managed to add "Light Gun Games" and "Pinball" to my platform categories. ... both categories show up in BigBox but not in LaunchBox.... so im not sure how to edit or delete them.

It would be nice to be able to choose what is displayed in the menu, for example i will probably very rarely use "view genres" , Developers, Publisher's etc etc i would prefer to just show "view platforms, categories and Playlist it would then look alot less cluttered IMO, having Options, search and exit etc etc would be ok to keep the but all tte different view options would be nice to turn off..... this is in BigBox of course... what do you guys think?

Yea ive got ps1, model 2, mame working with it.... and once i get fibre hooked up so i can get some ps2 games ill do that.
.... there may also be in the near future a new "mouse plugin" for pcxs2 emulator so ill be keeping an eye out on that one.

My games only number in the 'low hundreds' (but I don't have any emulated games and only 15 Steam games). Well..... were i can i like to pay/donate for my games....... obviously all 150+ of my steam games are paid for and i also pay for services like Romulation,Emuparidise and i donate to bitGAMER.... if i could directly donate to the original creators i would... but unfortunately that is not always possible, but for example i soon plan on emulating the new Zelda game but i am also going to purchase the game as well to support the dev team.

Im not sure if this is still an issue or not ( @Jason Carr ) but dont install LB to the root of the Drive..
Make a LaunchBox folder on the drive 1st then install it inside that.
I had this issue some time ago when LaunchBox was installed on the root of my drive it would not install the updates because it could not find LaunchBox or some sort of issue like that.

Really good actually. I use controller compainion its on steam and its a bloody god send. It has its own "virtual keyboard" that is made for controllers... the mouse movement is also great.... i don't even have a mouse n keyboard connected up at all. And i can download,unzip and add roms to my system with ease with out a need for a mouse or keyboard.

I added a "LaunchBox" system and added things like LaunchBox Youtube ( in youtube couch mode) so it looks like it does on consoles. Then i added LaunchBox forums, YT SimpleAustin, YT Metal Jesus and many more websites like walkthrus and rom downloading sites. It is all open in Chrome Kiosk mode so its like full screen chrome with no boarders so it doesn't break the illusion that your are on a pc.... its all navigated by a controller as well.

Oh man...... windows...... pls........ why you do this...... this issue plagues so many ppl... there are " work arounds for ceartian emulators or using remapping programs but dam Microsoft we bloody well shouldn't have to!

I was living in perth when i purchased my Aimtrak... this issue also crossed my mind... i ended up finding a store in AU that stocked the Aimtrak LightGuns so i just purchased it from there.
I have since moved to NZ and i took my gun with me.... no worries at all with customs.

Rockectlauncher can do this if you want to learn that programe.
As you can see ive added what buttons rewind gameplay and close the game to my fade screen.
