    Full-screen pdf/manual with SumatraPDF

    Under "FixedPageUI"...  comment out the background line to turn off what is essentially a colored overlay on the pdf

    The only way to set the actual background behind the pdf is to set the following. I set a slight gradient but a single black #000000 can be set as well.

    A single whole page at a time as the default view 

    
DefaultDisplayMode = single page

    Set fullscreen as the default 

    
WindowState = 3

     

    Obviously you'll need to set this as your default PDF viewer. 
    This isn't tremendously difficult, but I'm sure others are looking for a possible solution to a front-end "hands-off"-ish manual viewing in BigBox. 
    Esc is then set for exiting and the arrow keys will change pages. Set these with your controller(s) and your front-end solution should be good until there's a local pdf solution.

    I also have a fullscreen pdf viewer program installed.... so when i open my PDF's they open in fullscreen i can then zoom in,turn pages and exit with my controller as i have a controller compainion profile for the viewer... its definitely a nice touch to big box.

    Renaming Video Snaps - Bulk Rename Utility

    And yes this would be possible.....  but i wont give you directions off the top of my head, ill post something up when im at my computer next.

    Any inclination when RL will be updated to work with the new xml split feature that LB uses? Im mid way thru building my mates pc with LB + RL but at the moment RL wont work with LB's current XML setup. If RL is not going to be updated dor a while (week+) i may need to roll back to 6.9, how would i go about rolling back a version if i need to.. is there somewhere i can DL the old LB versions?

    So strange..... so i have two pc's one in the lounge n one in my room. I have cloned my LaunchBox setup from my lounge to my PC in my room as its much easier working on LB when sitting at a desk in my room. Every week on a fri/sat i clone my progress back to my lounge pc...... Sooò anyhow i activated Voice Activation in my room pc and yea it took a few min to activate no biggie and no issues from there on LB n BB launching again fine with Voice Activation on..... BUT..... when i then cloned my "room" setup to my lounge PC then launched LB itwould hang on the voice activation part and give me the error above.... anyhow i did the update on my Room pc n turned off Voice Activation then coppied the updated LB across to my Lounge PC and now its fine.

    I use shadowplay to record on my pc....... i use the key kombo ALT+2 to record the last 2min of gameplay....... if you could make it so i could say " Record that" and it pushed alt 2 to record... my god that would be cool...

    Cemu I'm assuming? I was under the impression Wii U emulation was still pretty early but I've heard some good things about Cemu (and no shortage of posts on /r/emulation... so much so that it kinda drove me away from that sub to be honest). Is it in a sufficient state that it's actually worth looking into as more than a novelty? Is it viable for more than just a couple games?

    So far i just have the one game Super Smash Bro for the wii u, while not perfect it's playable.. but its more there to show off to friends lol.

     

    Edit: oh also ive been using the 3DO clear logo for my 3DNES section....... anychance you would like to make a 3DS clear logo?? No worries if you dont want to.

    Here is an example of when sym link are great.

     

    So ive moved my LB setup to a new HDD and my setup is in the ROOT or main directory of the new HDD unfortunately i did not know at the time that LB can not update itself if its installed on the main Directory/Root of the drive. Now o didn't want to move all my files n folder because then i would have broken links/directories for Rockstarlauncher and LaunchBox.... so what i did was yea ended up moving my folders and files to a new folder 1 Deep in the new HDD directory and then i symbolic linked all the file's and folders back to the main directory... so  now launchbox launches from a different directory but still thinks all the files n folders are were they use to be but infact they have been moved and Rocketlaunchers Directories are also all good now too... and thats just one example of how symlinks have saved my arse lol

    Just made a quick simple video demonstrating of my BigBox setup for my friends that want me to set it up on there PC's before i move country, and yes i will have them purchase a BigBox license. Anyhow thought you guys may be interested in taking a look at it. Still a couple bugs here n there that ive since ironed out.

    I have also added a category for Websites/Youtube so with a click of a button it opens chrome in Kiosk mode Fullscreen Borderless so you dont even know you are using Chrome... unfortunately shadowplay doesn't record chrome in Kiosk mode so i can not show you how it looks.... but this is how it looks when i open for example Simply Austins YT Page  https://www.youtube.com/tv#/browse-sets?c=UCb4RFFBZEztOW77onViqoDA&resume
