  1. For me everything got worse and slowed with the recent versions, because before it worked very well. My PC settings are very good and would handle the message quietly. CPU AMD FX 8350 16GB Ram DDR 3 1886 mhz 2x AMD R9 290 (connected in SLI) Before in coverflow view it worked fine, but currently it is impossible. I already configured the launchbox from scratch and it still did not work. I believe the program needs performance tuning in future releases.
  2. Just correcting my mistake, I explained myself wrong, it's not about a Famicom platafotma, but what I mean is that I made changes to SNES games that were without information, and while they are still in the process of approval appears to me to accept changes Performed by another person in the same game, as if a certain person was seeing what I changed and was trying to change before. I'm not saying anything, just finding it strange. I'll send some prints to explain it better. For example in this image shows a game that I added information recently, but some time later appeared for me to approve modifications and images very similar to the ones I added, and my changes have not been approved yet. Sorry for my bad english, I'm from Brazil.
  3. I want to report something very strange. For some days now I like to make Super Famicom to add incomplete information, better quality images or that do not exist. The strange thing is that the game that nobody has edited yet, but by "coincidence" one day when, when the games that I dictated are still in moderation, it appears to me also as the same I had already done, that is, the impression of That someone else is not approving as my edits and is picking up how information and images they use for their own edit person. I am not here to compete with anyone else about collaborating more, but the fact is that this is waste of time and unnecessary work. I wish some master moderator could check this out.
  4. I would suggest that there was an editing option as platforms, to add information, specifications and images, since many are empty. And also wanted to know why the Master System, Genesis, Sega CD, etc ... are without images without database, since they are very popular platforms.
  5. I recently added the option to merge roms from different regions, which I found very good. But I wanted to suggest that the scrapper should look for information in the secondary and alternative names of the games in the database, since there are games that have different names depending on the region and that are the same game, but the launchbox does not find this information and leaves them separated and it is necessary to merge Manually. Obs: Sorry for my bad english, because I'm Brazilian.
  6. Guys, I do not know if it's the right place for me to ask or if there is a solution, but my BigBox is very slow, it's stalling, especially in the reflection mode of 3D boxes.
  7. I would like to make a suggestion to put a second option for game names in Games DB, AKA like "Alias," and that this extra information could be drawn by the scraper LaunchBox because there are games that have different names in other regions. For example: The Cratermaze game Turbografx-16 is named Doraemon: Meikyū Daisakusen in Japan, and this can confuse those who want to leave their leaner romset, and also avoid being have duplicate games by mistake in Games DB.
  8. I would like to make a suggestion to the views of BigBox. It would be very interesting if the views settings are independent for each platform because now if I change a display type on a platform, the other end being equal. For example, I would select a type of display on wheels for a platform, and a different kind of view in another, ie each platform had its preview option independently configured, thus giving the possibility of having different views for each platform.
  9. Chaosmountain said Oy Vey!!! Basically you must first choose a botton for "Hold Button" (the "Hold Button" is the button that you have to hold to activate one of the other options below). Then choose another button to "Close the Active Window", and pressing these 2 buttons together you exit the emulator. I chose for example the buttons "Select (Back on Xbox Controller)" as the "Hold Button" and the Start button for the "Close the Active Window".
  10. I have a few more questions. I noticed that when the Games Database website has been created, you pulled the ThegamesDB site data, then wanted to know if the information updated there are still synchronized with the Games Database, or if the database Games Database is now independent. I ask this because I have collaborated extensively with ThegamesDB and wanted to continue, and if the two sites were synchronized I would update one. And also wanted to know if one day you intend to release the Games Database for other programs use to scrapings, such as KODI, Retropie, EmulationStation, etc ..., or if it will be unique to the LaunchBox.
  11. Note: First forgive my English, because I am Brazilian and I used google translator. I have some tips and suggestions to maintain better quality and speed in games database. First, I have collaborated a lot with ThegamesDB site, and one of the suggestions I learned from them was to convert JPEG images to PNG, as well the file maintains the quality, but is much smaller and thus scraping is much faster. Another thing, I am in favor of keeping images with the best quality possible, so I favor re-created images or who have had treatment. On the issue of re-created images, I think it is so important (with so much to maintain the originality). I even collaborate with Hyperspin creating and editing cases, and I've had many times to recreate some bad images elements. Finally I leave suggestions from some sites that can be used to take images in better quality. https://gbatemp.net/threads/cover-collections-for-emulators-with-cover-support.324714/ This site contains a large collection of covers of various systems, and mostly form recreated or edited. And for this reason it is always good to take a researched other sites about the fidelity of the cases because some of them not so faithfully recreated, but mostly are excellent and faithful. And for this reason I will indicate a few more sites that can be used to download cover art, or at least serve as a research to compare the fidelity of the site images that I quoted earlier. www.segaretro.org www.guardiana.net www.nintandbox.net www.thecoverproject.net
  12. I would like to help organize the database, because I too helped in TheGamesDB, and realized that you got quite a lot of them, and there are things that should be arranged as duplicate images, or images with bad quality just not being deleted.
