  1. You could add the platform view, to carry out the mediation without having to open the game information in a new tab.
  2. For me the TecToy versions are small modifications to be separated into different games, and both the organization issue and the Retroachievements ID can easily be organized within LaunchBox as additional applications, since whoever needs to identify the rom ID is the emulator and not the frontend. So I will continue to deny this change, but I think it would be interesting to do a poll.
  3. I thought about restarting this project (I had some stuff and my HD stopped working 😭), I'm glad you shared this with us, it's great. I have two questions: Can I upload these images to the database? And do you have the spines too?
  4. I am one of the moderators and I am no longer accepting that these modified TecToy games are separate, as I agree that they are the same game.
  5. Analyzing all points, I came to the conclusion that these Brazilian versions should not be separated from the original games, due to the small amount of changes, it is just a regionalization. I understand some points of view, regarding games with different versions, such as Resident Evil, Resident Evil Director's Cut, Dual Shock version, etc..., and in my point of view they should not be separated. Romhacks' argument is also not considered valid, since they are precisely unofficial versions and most of them change a lot. That said, I will not pass amendments that split them up.
  6. I'm one of the database's moderators, and since no other moderators have spoken out and most of the time I'm seeing change requests, I'll accept it, so let's separate these versions as individual games for the time being, because I think the arguments make sense . However, if other moderators speak out and decide that they should not be separated, then we will have to undo everything.
  7. On the issue of RA you don't need a separate entry, because if you look at this point then each region of the same game should have a separate entry. LaunchBox gives you the option to select the version you want to run of the same game, just choose the correct one for the RA.
  8. Something like this could be added to our database.🙏
  9. The advantage I see in Screenscraper is the fact that they have a choice of several languages for the overview of the games. If this additional game overview language feature were included in our database there would be no need for Screescrape integration. I've requested this several times, I think it would be better than having to resort to 3rd party APIs.
  10. Does anyone know how to run VTech CreatiVision, Funtech Superscan, Entex Adventure Vision, RCA Studio II, Casio Loopy, and similar platforms through retroarch? I’ve heard that it has to be through the mame’s core, but I’ve tried some ways I’ve seen on the internet but I still can’t.
  11. The Taito Type X platform is duplicated, will this be fixed?
  12. I agree with you. I think at least a button to notify as misuse could help, causing a notification to already be sent to Jason Carr.
  13. I would like to ask again to create a way to see who is making edits and request a ban, because someone has been making wrong edits and changes and wanting to mess everything up for days.
  14. I would like to take advantage of and ask some questions with you. First of all, I found this new method of emulating DOS very good, since I think the Retroarch very practical, especially for me that I like to use everything by Joystick. But speaking of that, I wanted to know why some games are still in control, for example, in Duke Nukem 3D when I try to move forward, the character goes backwards, and when I press A / X (Xbox or PlayStation controller) on the Joystick he walks to forward sometimes. I tried to fix it and I couldn't. Another question, I am a bit of a layman in the advanced parts of DOSBox and I was wondering if there is any guide on how to configure the games in the best possible way, and what are the differences between Sound, Video, etc. Soundblaster is the best one for example?
  15. I come to suggest a way for the moderators to be able to know who are the users that make edits in the gamedatabase, so that we can identify who is just causing disorder in the database, because it has been a few days that someone has been making wrong changes on the site. Here's an example of an idiot who's been making the wrong changes three days ago:
  16. And just to make it clear if there is any confusion: I am suggesting the option of the field to insert translations, I am not telling the developers to translate.
  17. First of all, I'm sorry for my bad English. With all due respect, but you are wrong and it was even a little arrogant. Of course, there are millions of games to add translation, as well as to add covers, images, logos, etc ..., and that is why we have users collaborating daily with the database. I am not the only one asking for this option and I am sure that I will not be the only one to contribute with this if this option comes up. Just as there were several users on the Screenscraper website who did this work, there will also be users here who will dedicate themselves to this, after all, there are many Launchbox users who are from Brazil.
  18. I don't know if this matter was discussed again, but I wanted to know where these events occur to create new features so that I can include this possibility.
  19. Here I have another problem, D-Fend is able to run the games through the .conf files that it creates from each game inside a CONFIG folder on it. But this only works if I run using RocketLauncher, in LaunchBox it only opens the emulator and gives an error message that it was unable to find the file, probably this error must be due to the lack of a command to be added in the LaunchBox, but I don't know what it is. I tried to look at the RocketLauncher AHK file so I could see if I found something, but I didn't find anything. can anybody help me?
  20. For some time now my BigBox has not changed the views of the themes, I press the button to change the view and it does not change. This is happening with all themes. I can only change by selecting the view I want in the option to manage themes, but even so it still doesn't change in many cases.
