Wow, it was so easy and I couldn't find it Many thanks to all for your help.
-
Sorry for the inconvenience, but I didn't find the option to create a new category.
-
I edited the image because I don't have a saved print. But if not mistaken there was a categorical Playlist.
-
But before there was the playlist category there too, because your I put in root will be all appearing on the main screen of BigBox.
-
Please, can some body help me? @Jason Carr
-
Playlist category no longer appears in BigBox and in the options of Copiers, Consoles, Notebooks, etc ... I have several playlists created, but only have the option to show them in one of these other categories.

(Sorry my bad English) I have been a moderator of the database since the beginning and at various times I come across wrong changes requested by bad people who just want to get in the way. He wanted to know if a function could be added to identify or even ban these malicious people.

Is there any intention of adding support for Bezels as well? Because if you add Bezels support you will no longer have to use the Rocket Launcher.
-
About playlists you have to take into account the playlists in which there are no systems with the same name in RL. Capcom Play System II, Capcom Play System III, Cave, Data East Classics, Irem Classics, Konami Classics, Midway Classics, Namco Classics, Namco System 22, Nintendo Classics, Sega Classics, Sega ST-V, SNK Classics, SNK Neo Geo MVS, Taito Classics and Williams Classics. As for custom playlists like 2 Players, Best Beat 'n Up, Best Shotter, etc ..., they do not exist in RL by default, so I do not know the best solution in this case. @Jason Carr

Can not solve this in the future or ask the people of Rocketlauncher to solve?

I wanted to suggest that the created playlists of MAME (Capcom Play System II, Cave, etc ...) executed with the RocketLauncher according to the name, because in the rocketlauncher I have separated all the machines of arcade, however as in the launchbox it is treated as playslist end up running as the MAME platform in RocketLauncher and I wanted to run separately to be able to use the fades of each one, not to mention that as I use Retroarch I end up using the core of MAME for certain platforms and the FBA for others.

8.8 beta 3 - Platform Categories View Broken
alissongamer replied to smpetty's topic in Beta Testing
I got a print from another guy, but that's what you should change. If you want the platform to appear for example only in the option "Consoles" then uncheck the "Root" option, because if you leave it marked it will appear in both categories. -

Now there is the option to choose in which category you want the platform or playlist to be. Click to edit the platform or playlist and in the last day of the options you will see a list, there you will mark in which category you want the platform to be. I'm not at home now, but if you need a print let me know. -
What would be the best emulator for arcades? Currently I use Retroarch, for the convenience of using filters, Retroachievements, etc ..., but wanted to know if there is any advantage in using MAME.
-
I have a doubt. Because some Arcade games are imported for example with the name "Buggy Boy / Speed Buggy" and the primary name in the database is just "Buggy Boy"?
-
If I'm not mistaken I left everything unchecked (with the exception of playlist creation). Is it because I left the "Skip non-arcade games" field unchecked?
-
At the end before the import, I left everything selected (Prototype, betas, Mahjong, etc ...). Should I have unchecked something?
-
I do not know if it has something to do, but my BIOS and CHDs are in the same folder as the MAME roms.
-
Yes, I'm sure I minded the new method and even then it imported files that are not games, and so I'm erasing them manually. Various files with bios name, VGA cards, serial ports, etc ...
-
I have two doubts. With this new specific function to import roms from MAME and wanted to know which best set you are using, Split, Merged or no-Merged. Another mistake I noticed was that the Launchbox imported files that were not games because the CHDs and BIOS are in the same folder as the roms.

Could not enable the function of adding images to the platforms? Well, we could collaborate to add clear logos, fanarts, devices, etc ...
