Links to screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/fKT2s#aO8Tn5b GoldenEye 007, the beloved N64 first-person shooter, has been recreated in high-definition glory by a team of dedicated fans over the course of 10 years. The mod, known as GoldenEye: Source, received its first update in more than three years this week. It's free to download and it features 25 recreated maps, 10 different multiplayer modes, and redesigned versions of the original game's 28 weapons. It was created using Valve's Source engine, the same set of tools used to create Counter Strike and Half-Life games. So it's a massive step up in both visuals and performance for one of the more drastically dated gaming masterpieces of the last 20 years. Yeah I have been working on and off on this but i could never getting it to look nice at all.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85fILN_m5pg I love what Jim is saying here. I buy video games but I sure as hell am not going to buy a 300 dollar copy of little samson. Games media must compete with emulation, they are not. I think the virtual console is a step in the right direction but i think a lower price would do everything pretty good. Emulation is not a dirty word. Thought you guys might find this interesting.

Welp, I turned on my anti-virus and i had no problem installing beta 5! So IDK what the original problem was. :/ But it's fixed!
-
come to think of it... More likely fix was I was running a anti-virus software that asked me if i wanted to run the launchbox executable and in the time between updates i switched it off. So when I was updating launchbox with the antivirus program on it mustve broke some processes and might have confused launchbox! That would make the most sense. Next beta build ill update u. see if i can make the bug happen again.

Jason Carr said Hi @kerszr, this looks like it's just that BigBox.exe is running or something else is accessing that file. You can try killing BigBox.exe with Task Manager or even just rebooting your machine should hopefully do the trick. Yep that easy! Thank you! Have a wonderful day!

Im getting errors. I have no idea whats going on Im affraid to go any further in the download process. Am I screwed? I wanna download the latest beta build.

Okay, I fixed the bug I can play games now. But it seems that I have no idea what i am doing with the hotkey thing...
-
Aaaaaaaaaand I screwed it up. Well atleast I assume that I did I can't play half my catelog now. I was just useing the hot key option and now everytime I open a N64 file it says... something...

So I have all my NES games in 7zip folders. Cool right!? Nestopia is nice enough to have them their for me to play and a little dialouge box to help see which one I want. It helps me sort through all the fan translations, the hacks, the trains, sprite swaps, etc. I highly recommend it. I couldn't do it any other way. But heres the thing (it's a niche complaint but really kinda frusterating). I am playing with a controller. Not with a keyboard. I want to sort through this dialouge box since when I purchased Big Box which was advertised to be a hometheater set-up. There is a hotkey option which is the solution that won't have me unpack all my roms and get all the artwork again. If i could change the 'right thumstick' to scroll through that pop up window I would be soooooo0oooooo happy. Litteraly exstatic. So if any tips (to change the control settings to these options would be greatly, greatly appreciated! Please and thank you! right thumbstick y+ = up directional pad up right thumbstick y- = down directional pad down 2. A select hotkey would be sooooo cool if I knew how to do that as well. The right click thingy. 3. The escaping sucks. I found another user who had some part of the code to excape. I found someone else who managed to excape via the excape key instead of what was originally the alt x keys. This info is probably needly but it shows that it is possible with one key. RButton::esc ; ----= [ .Esc = Alt-F4 toggle ] =---- +Esc:: Hotkey, Esc, Toggle Return ; ========================================= ; ----= [ .Esc = Alt-F4 ] =---- Esc:: SetTitleMatchMode, 2 IfWinNotActive, Firefox Send !{F4} Else { Click left 760, 65 Send ^w } Return ; ========================================= -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is just a helpful tip if you dont want to go and put those silly commands into caprice forever. I realized Sentai Brad didn't put this in the video. I only happened it by accident. Just simply open up your game via launchbox and press 'F6'. Boom! all the files on your drive. Press enter and play! I don't know if this can be used to have the game load from the start without the blue screen. There must be a command line somewhere! Right?

Im kinda new to rocketlauncher. I know it launches things. Would it help launch the the old pc stuff? Like IDK Amiga from launchbox? Or am i confused. Im probably confused.
