  1. I got it for fighting games on the switch, and I like it. It is heavy enough that it feels solid on your lap, and the buttons feel good. I'm not a pro or anything, but I'm happy with it. And the fact that I can use with the PC is a nice bonus.
  2. I forgot to add I have the Hori RAP 5 for Switch. It has a toggle for PC so use that with arcade games. I don't know if I would call Holland a swamp, but then I don't live there... I'm in Paris, not a swamp but not the easiest place to find some goodies.
  3. Land of Nether... Nederlands? Holland?
  4. I have Retro-Bit/8bitdo N64 bluetooth controller and it works great (for N64 of course), and I am looking at 8bitdo's GBros adapter so that I can use an official GameCube controller and NES/SNES mini controllers. A similar controller to the six button Genesis layout is the most annoying controller to find... Also as a warning, you don't want the current M30 since it isn't bluetooth. You'd need an adapter. As I said, if you can be patient I will bet that the M30 Pro with bluetooth will appear sooner than later.
  5. Thank for a great app. Would it be possible to add a button to the Audit window to breakout the additional apps for each game? I'm trying to do a bulk clean up of Arcade games and it is quite difficult since I don't have an 'easy" way to copy a list of what is included in LB so that I can use something like LordMonkus's script to filter out any non imported ROMs. I had original post about this that is is still ongoing, but I wanted to write a formal request. Deleting non imported MAME games Thanks again for everything. EDIT: I created a BitBucket request for this, please vote it up if you are interested in this feature. Issue #4725
  6. (I didn't read through all the posts) If you can be patient Retro Bit is releasing Genesis/MegaDrive & Saturn controllers (bluetooth and USB), and there is a rumored bluetooth one coming with analog sticks. Also, 8bitdo is making a Genesis one for Analogue's new Genesis clone, so I guess it is only a matter of time before they release the Genesis equivalent of the SN30 Pro. It's only speculation on my part, but very probable.
  7. I used the Romcenter filter to get rid of a big group of games, so that is a first step, but we still have the main issue. I wish there was a "breakdown" button in the audit. Still hunting for an easy solution...
  8. DOS76: The Simpsons and TMNT have 2p and 4p versions. JoeViking245: Even if the set is non-merged the games are merged into one in LB. I'll test and see.
  9. Does this method include clones in the list?
  10. I haven't found a solution yet, and I am still playing with the collection, however this might be of interest to you: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.reddit.com/r/MAME/comments/6b3kp4/how_i_deleting_from_romset_some_genres_like/ This should help deleting a good portion of the roms you don't need. Been playing with Romcenter last night, not the most intuitive, but usable.
  11. Media cleanup won't touch your ROMs. Basically it looks at the game list, and the media folder. Is the game there? Yes, keep image. No, delete image. Is image A the same as image B? Yes, delete B. No, keep both.
  12. OKAY!!! Back to the original question. Is there an easy way to compare imported arcade ROMs into Launchbox and the actual files in MAME's rom folder, so that one can delete all the non imported games? Yes, it is a non-merged set... All 150GB of it. I'm trying to be lazy here. ???
  13. Yeah yeah... If I wasn't trying to do a dozen things at once, AND focused my attention it probably would be ? Thanks again y'all, and now I am off to the PleasureDome!!!
  14. Okay... I think I finally get it. Practical if you want to have everything, but PITA for what I want to do... Time to hunt down a split set (and my prefered website doesn't have them). Thanks again, and sorry for being slow on the uptake.
  15. So I finally imported my merged MAME set. The "original" set is complete and on my server, so I will try to manually clean up the roms folder by comparing the audit list against the roms folder and we will see if I can manage to remove everthing without nuking a game the is in LB, and before that I can clean up LB since I won't be keeping most sports games, lightgun games, and other. I know this is minor, but I wish there was an option to "Delete all non imported games" in the MAME import wizard, because if I'm skipping all the Majong games I don't really want them using up storage space. Thanks for the help everyone, and if there is a third party tool that can accomplish what I am trying to do please let me know, and I've already got an idea how to add any required CHD to my list only for those games that require it.
  16. I installed kat5200 and set it up. It's easier, and works. Thanks for the help guys.
  17. Blah!!! Keep getting a blank black screen. If I hit F1 the menu pops up, but I can't get the game to run... Also, RA seems to hang quite often beyond A5200 games.
  18. Thank you for the heads up EDIT: I just checked and I have a merged set. However I'm not too worried about clones of a game, what I want to accomplish is deleting games that won't be imported at all. A good example would be DDR I won't import it so I want to nuke it, and all other games in that style, but with the naming conventions used make it a bit of a PITA to figure out what is safe to delete.
  19. Still ongoing. The update took forever, and now I'm getting timeouts on image downloads for new imports.
  20. Hello. I'm looking to add arcade games to my LB and I understand how to do it, but I was wondering if anyone had an easy way to go through the ROMs and delete the ones that aren't imported (casino games, etc.)? Since LB doesn't actually do anything (move, copy) to the roms since they are in the MAME roms folder I figure everything will remain the folder, and if they aren't in LB then I don't need them taking up space on my HD. Thanks for the help.
