I make it using the pen tool in photoshop. It takes a long time but it's really the only way to do it properly.

Another one to try https://www.whatfontis.com/ it's not as good as Whatthefont, so I only use it as a back up.

What I do is look at the other media, like the disc sleeve and title screen to get clues as to what the name should be. In this case I would just make the Kunst aus China logo.

you used to be able to see the reasons, by leaving your mouse icon still over the reasons, not sure how it works now.

I always check before making a logo, sometimes it's already made and was never added to other systems. When I finish a logo I search the DB to add it to all systems that are missing it.

If you are making logos for the fanart boxes like this one, it is using Impact font, why not use that instead so it matches more closely?

I pick a system in the database and go through the games one by one alphabetically and make the logos that are missing, and in between I do the ones that are requested here. Currently I'm working my way through the Atari 800 games.
