Yup, that was it! WORKS. Thanks guys! My final working batch command is:
for /r %%i in (*.cue) do chdman createcd -i "%%i" -o "%%~ni.chd"-

*UPDATE: Thankfully it seems that Retroarch plays the .CUE if I use the original game folder/files instead of worrying about converting it...
Although it would be nice to convert and use them as CHD to save some space, if that were still possible...from what I see so far though it does NOT preserve the WAV files in the process of conversion. -
There is no way this is preserving the WAV files. Look at the file difference between this CHD vs. the game with WAVS
I tried it, it PLAYS, but it's silent except for SFX....
@Rlad how did you convert Alfred Chicken, and are you sure yours is using the original WAV files?

Yes, the Amiga Retroarch core (puae) does support CHD files...that is how my CHD games which do work in Retroarch for Amiga CD32 work currently (the ones in that format).
My concern is that if I convert the ISO's I have to CHD, it won't also integrate the audio (WAV) files from the games that have... 😕
I guess I need someone to chime in who has done such conversions and what it takes...something like powerISO to maybe integrate the ISO with the WAVS, etc..? No idea...
Thanks for the response.

How will this handle games that have ISO CUE and some WAV files in the same folder? (these are Amiga CD32 games)

Doesn't help much, but thanks for confirming that something is wrong with my machine's config which ONLY affects this plugin and none of my others I have installed and working; and apparently I'm not the only one.
Is it possible the issue is because my main build I'm testing is running off a NAS? -

I work in IT, therefore I know best. Sigh..
If it was a core update mismatch the plugin would always be broken over wildly varying user configs. As a matter of fact it isn't. All but 2 users have reported a fault. Let that sink in.
Dude take the chip off your shoulder. You aren't helping being an ass and accusing people of personal errors, when nothing else in my several Launchbox/BigBox premium collections fail at all. Let that sink in.

As mentioned above with proof, it is working fine. Any other outcome can be attributed only to user error.
False. Please don't be silly. I work on computers for a living, and have worked with Launchbox (and plugins without an issue) since the early days, so I highly doubt it is "user error". It's likely a config or some other core update requires which is not matching up between machines that work still with the plugin, and ones that do not.

PCSX2.Configurator.Next.Beta.2.Hotfix.3 is not working my LB 11.15 build either. It never launches...I DID delete the settings.ini and let it rebuild (it created one), but nadda.

Are you using other plugins as well? Its working just fine here on 11.5 Beta 2, but i have seen evidence in our Discord of it not working if you are also using the Playtime Tracker plugin. So i would remove all plugins and see if it works. If it does work simply add plugins back one by one and test until it stops working to isolate what is interfering.
It could be the playtime tracker plugin... although I have no idea when I added that vs. when it stopped working. I'll try to remove that and see what happens. Thanks.

I very much doubt it is the plug-in when it works for the majority. The poster above has advised that it works as intended on a new install which all but confirms that it is set-up related. Especially if you had it running in the past.
Well you would be wrong, at least in my case, as I've freshly installed it several times since it failed, completely RE-DID my collection at one point, and it still doesn't work. (also had bought a new PC, so that's ALSO NEW)
-
No you're not alone.. this plugin hasn't worked for ages (for me), and my computer is up-to-date and everything else works in the collection...I was also told it was something wrong my collection, but all evidence seems contrary to that; clearly it's something wrong with the plug-in, some sort of conflict with something commonly being used (but not universally?). No idea.

wow, you have many issues according to that error. You ever tried fixing your Windows before blaming Launchbox Plugins?
The plugin has been broken and was reported as thus for a long time now. I haven't had it working for several versions back (options are simply grayed out), and it's certainly NOT my computer...everything else works fine. a reinstall of LB entirely didn't fix it either, so something is going on...it happened a few versions back when LB was updated and it only seems to affect this plugin.

I just wish mine has worked for the last 10 versions. Still doesn't, even though I'm told it does. I just ended up having to remove it.

YES! After days of trying to fix the greyed out option, I found what the problem was, it was so simple, Im used to name the "Sony Playstation 2" platform just "Playstation 2"
That was causing the plugin to not work for me, now it's named "Sony Playstation 2" again, I guess I will have to use the default name if I want to use the plugin.
Sadly that doesn't help me, but I'm glad it's working for you. Mine has always been named Sony Playstation 2, and I still have the greyed out problem. Everything else works, so it's for sure some conflict with the plugin and my collection/update/system-build

Maybe for you, but reinstalling the plugin, reinstalling launchbox, doesn't make it work, since 10,6 I think, is there something that Im not aware of?
I agree with you, mine also stopped working and I have gotten no solution for it.

There was nothing to figure out. It still works. What exactly is the issue you are having?
It doesn't for me. It doesn't come up when I right-click a game and choose it. It basically ignores the click. No error. It used to work fine a couple versions ago. I reinstall it, and it doesn't fix it.
-
Anyone ever figure this out? Nothing it working, reinstalled the plugin, using beta2 (latest), simply doesn't come up anymore.

Just in case anyone has the same problem I had, namely where nothing happens when you click on the PCSX2 Configurator option in the right-click context menu, here's what I did to get it to work:
Rename the plugin folder and remove "Beta 2" at the end of the name so that it just says "PCSX2 Configurator Next".
After starting LaunchBox, the menu now shows up when I click on the option.
It seems that the settings are such that it's looking for that specific name, and the Beta 2 part of it is screwing with that.
Didn't work for me. Mine was already named "PCSX2 Configurator Next" and just doesn't work. (won't launch)
-
Weird...I'll restart and try again. Thanks.
-
The configurator is no longer launching with 10.7 (and possibly 10.6, I didn't test it before this version...) - can this be fixed?
-
Anyone still having success with this plugin? (LB version 7.16)
-
Agreed, please update this plugin as per above, otherwise, AWESOME!

For the record, I converted 156 Amiga CD32 titles and they were 29.8GB before, but are now only 14.7GB - YAY!
