    Here is all my stuff from creating a platform for pico-8 Pico-8.png.d0138883bb7616f72a734512f591aeca.png. All of my projects are in the assets folder and all the resulting art is in the launchbox folder.

    In short, you can just drop the contents of my Launchbox folder in to your own installation.

    If you want to see my work and or change things, all the proj files and assets are in the assets folder.

     

    I did my best at a colorful video, but will probably replace it once the experts create one.

    Its worth noting that viking released the assets to his videos. If you had access to Photoshop and After Effects you could replace the gameplay videos and add marquees for your preferred games. There are only a handful of modern convertibles (Taito Viewlix, Namco Noir and Sega Lindbergh). These 3d models are a huge undertaking and will take a lot of time, but I can envision a future where viking and others like him have lovingly recreated most machines in cgi and we can enjoy our collections in a virtual reality arcade experience.

    This project is on ice. Launchbox and Bigbox have improved discoverability making most custom playlist work achievable using the in built filtering. The bezel artwork is still available in the links.

    Not much has changed. I included some images that I use for my platforms/playlists view.

    This is a work in progress theme for Big Box Theme creator. It is meant for monitors in portrait mode with vertical game play videos. It is still pretty rough, but it's something to use until something better comes along. In order to use this you must also download the theme creator and drop this file in the my projects folder. There is a font to install in the fonts folder. Open and tweak and then publish to use in big box. Updated for theme creator 1.0.8.95

    I'm using this theme only for games that support a vertical orientation during gameplay. It is untested with standard resolution games and the corresponding media.

    I do have plan to expand this build for all arcade games at some point but I am focusing on vertical resolution stuff for now and there is a lot to do.

    Here is a collection of Pinball Media I created for my vertical theme.

    This now includes Vertical video snaps, Marquees if you are running a second monitor and clear logos.

    Here is a work in progress theme for Big Box Theme creator.     Here is a collection of Arcade Media I created for my vertical theme.

    This includes HD Overlays and HD Marquees if you are running a second monitor.

    This now includes a few additional systems and videos for things that weren't in my preferred format in the db.

    Pico-8, Dreamcast, X-Box 360 and Naomi.

    I'm no longer creating 4K assets. I may circle back around when I upgrade my system to be able to handle 4k.

    A bunch of these are chopped up versions of @Arsinvictus excellent work found on the Retroarch forums.

    I found a great, simple and free app that hides your mouse cursor after a specified amount of time. 

    I have the application start when I start Windows and have specified a 5 second interval.

    Its perfect for Big Box and HTPC users.
