  1. Unified Lives!

This theme is my re-take on the excellent Unified-Refried theme and I called it 'Unified Lives!'.  The goal is to present more information to the user during game selection as well as using more graphic assets to complement the display experience.  I hope you like it!
    - An informative game card that shows many details of the currently selected game.
    - 2 Game wheel views, curved and vertical wheel.
    - 4 Platform/playlist views which have bordered and full screen video views, also curved and straight wheels.
    -  Single views for game and platform text views (these are necessary views)
    - ESRB icons.  If you don't want them, delete or rename the icons.  The 'Not Rated' icon is renamed due to the number of titles without rating.  Remove the exclamation from the filename to see it.
    - Marquee, box 3d, disc, cd, 3d cart and front flyer images are all used.  Visibility rules determine how they appear, depending on platform and also file availability.
    - Designed for 16x9 widescreen displays.  If it doesn't look right on yours please let me know!
    - Visual Icons will be shown for Favorite, Completed and Broken games.  They align to the wheel now.
    - Created with Community Theme Creator 2.2.
    - Dynamically changing theme images based upon current platform/playlist. just like Refried.

  2. CoinOP - [Theme Workshop]

This theme was ported over to the Community Theme Creator during a Theme Workshop. You can now use the COMMUNITY Theme Creator files to edit this theme (CTC version 2.3 or higher required).

CoinOP is a BigBox theme based on Pezley's arcade theme concept. It's my take on a 1080p version of it.
This theme is specifically designed to be used with an Arcade build, for 4:3 video snaps, and marquees.

Want to make your own Marquee? Use this file for an example:
    CoinOP Marquee Example.psd

Make sure you right click the zip file, choose properties, and unblock the file.
Then extract the CoinOP directory into the Launchbox\Themes folder.

This theme comes with a number of views:
Vertical Platform View 1 Vertical Games Wheel 1 - basic view with animated Game Graphic (png/gif) Text Games View - basic text view with animated Game Graphic (png/gif)
Each game can have its own unique Game Graphic. This graphic will animate next to the arcade. Each game can only have 1 graphic.
There are 3 rules to making the Game Graphic appear in the theme:
    1. The file name needs to match the Launchbox Database ID number of the game.
    2. The file can be either PNG or GIF (allowing for animated GIFs).
    3. The file needs to be located in the following directory: Launchbox\Themes\CoinOP\Media\GameGraphics\[Launchbox DB ID].png

To find the LaunchBox DB ID, you must first have the game in your gaming library. Open up LaunchBox and search for the game. Right click the game and choose Edit. The LaunchBox DB ID number will be located in the top right.

Just a simple theme created with the Community Theme Creator to share. This does require a lot of artwork that is not included and should already be downloaded to look its best. I don't plan to make any changes or additions. Hope you enjoy!

This theme showcases the new wall view by providing 2 inspired views utilizing the new Wall View CoverFlow wheel.
What kind of things can the new CoverFlow wheel do? Download this theme and take a look.

The views use the following artwork:

    Have fun.

  6. RetroMags - [Theme Workshop]

RetroMags was built during a Theme Workshop live stream. If you are interested in creating themes, subscribe to the Unbroken Software YouTube channel.

    RetroMags
A Big Box theme designed to look like the Retro Magazine's of old.
The theme was designed using the COMMUNITY Theme Creator, along with some manual code changes in order to utilize the new wheel CoverFlow features not yet currently in the Theme Creator.

This theme relies on 1 System Hardware graphic and 3 platform specific game graphics for each platform/playlist/category. I did not include a graphic for every platform out there. If people would like to help contribute platform specific graphics, PM me, or post in this thread and I'll add them to the main theme in a future update.
    Graphic locations:
    System Hardware: LaunchBox\Themes\RetroMags\Media\Console Images Graphic 1: LaunchBox\Themes\RetroMags\Media\Platform Image 1 Graphic 2: LaunchBox\Themes\RetroMags\Media\Platform Image 2 Graphic 3: LaunchBox\Themes\RetroMags\Media\Platform Image 3
    Please note:
The COMMUNITY Theme Creator Project Files are provided for you to learn. If you would like to publish the theme, it will be missing the Platform Wheel and the 2 Wall View wheels. These would have to be added back manually to the theme. They can be found in the theme files within their respective xaml files.

  7. Fading Elegance v1 & v1+ - Designed with 4K LARGE Screens and TVs in Mind

Due to weird uploading issues again, the files are being renamed adding a bunch of numbers before the actual names of the zip files. The Fading Elegance v1+ is the last download (2102651409_FadingElegancev1.zip). The folder structure is still correct once unzipped.
Clean, modern look. Designed especially for using on Large 4K Screens and TVs. All 21 views, including new marquees. If you like to grab a controller or two, hit the couch and jump in front of a 4K Big Screen TV, this may be the theme for you. That's what I created it for!
Information Rich using very visible color graphic image icons for genres, play modes, max players/controllers (actual controllers are shown for the ones I could find). Lots of items fading in/out throughout the theme.
The "Game Details" view has tons of info mostly in the graphic format, it's the 3rd screenshot. The 1st screenshot transitions into the 2nd screenshot.
It can also show if the game can be played in Virtual Reality, Online, PvP, and more with some very simple setup. (Instructions Below)
It heavily relies on video snaps for it's focal point. In most of the views, the videos will expand and retract when there is no navigation being done in Bigbox.
Includes over 190 audio Platform .mp3 files and 250 Genre Icons (plus the Photoshop template to easily make more). If you don't like the Platform audio voices, just delete them in the Audio folder within the theme.
Includes ALL 21 views (including the new marquee views). Some cool animations as well.
The 2nd file called "Fading Elegance (Missing Video Snap)" was my original design see comments below
Added a NEW version called Fading Elegance v1+ . It has fanart fade into the background and randomly changes every 5 seconds on the Platform Views and has the game's fanart that shows in the Games Views. See the last screenshot.
Thanks to @MangaAddict for the suggestion. While I was at it, I figured I wanted some new sounds to go with the new theme, you can check them out if you're interested. I called them "The Mix"
Matching "Fading Elegance" Startup-Exit Theme - (with animation)
Matching "Fading Elegance" Pause Screen - (with animation)
Download Platform Voice (Salli was used in the video)
Fading Elegance v1+ - This is a better video that included the Start/Exit & Pause themes in actions as well.

Fading Elegance v1 (Be patient with first minute or so, it's showing an example of how some of the videos expand/retract)

Video for the Marquee views: I don't know how to over lap them.

Instructions to use Split Screen, Virtual Reality, PvP and Onlne Play Icon features:
To get the Split Screen, VR, PvP and Onlne Play icons to work in the theme is really pretty easy.
Create the 4 Custom Fields below in Launchbox, just edit any single game in your collection and pick Custom Fields on the left panel. Copy-n-paste one of the 4 custom fields below and press <ENTER>. Then enter Yes in the value section press <ENTER>. Copy-n-paste the other 3 Custom Fields and do the same. Then press OK

Now the fields should be ready and Yes is now a choice in Bulk Edit. Close Launchbox and re-open just to be safe. Then you can go back to the game you used to set up the custom fields and delete the Yes's if you need to.
What I did, was to sort my collection different ways like genre or playmode. I had a genre set up for MMO, so I bulk edited all the games in that category, first I chose Play Mode, making sure they all had multiplayer added as a value. Then I said yes to make more changes, and then chose the newly created Custom Field: Online Play and just select Yes in the dropdown to add value. The theme will now display the animated globe for all those games in the views that use it.
Do that for the other 3 Custom fields using similiar sorts. Of course any game can be edited manually as well.
The custom fields you need to add:
    Virtual Reality
    Split Screen
    PvP
    Online
I had never used CTC until about 2 weeks ago (amazing program, huge thanks to y2guru for sharing it and helping me with it). I'm still learning it and am still tweaking and tinkering with animations as far as timing and controls of them and to get them to work like I want.
I wasn't quite sure how most Bigbox folks use the Marquee views, so I just winged it. Like maybe a pinball machine marquee? Ya'll can let me know if I got it all wrong. That is what the 2nd video is, just the marquee capture.
In the orignal design, I had added a video that displays when there is no video snap for a game, but I could only find one way to actually make it work decently. I am glad I found a way to get it to work, but absolutely hate the way I had to do it. It slows the theme down a bit. Maybe there will be someone out there that knows a better way to implement it or maybe future enhancements to Launchbox or CTC will make it easier to accomplish.
About 1/2 the time you might see a glimps of the Missing Video video during navigation. It's because it is running in the background behind the game video snap and sometimes it would show just before the game's video snap is shown. If you interested in trying it out, It is the one called "Fading Elegance (Missing Video Snap)".
My sincere thanks goes out to @y2guru for sharing CTC, @viking for sharing his videos with us, the "Theme Guru" (@faeran) and @Jason Carr  for getting the upload issues fixed for me! There are many more that do so much for all of us. Thank you
If you like my stuff and use Kodi or a fork of it, take a peak at the skins I have done for it (mostly for kids) and maybe subscribe and say hey while you're there. My Bigbox and Kodi Videos

  8. Retrotastic [Theme Stream]

Retrotastic was built during a Theme Stream broadcast. If you are interested in creating themes, follow me on Twitch, or watch the videos later on YouTube.

This theme only works on version 10.15 and above due to its reliance on some new bindings!

    Retrotastic
I recreated my Retrotastic theme in the theme creator. This was an ambitious project, but one that was well worth it. It still has all the fun of the original theme, with over 150 platform specific backgrounds and a plethora of game specific backgrounds and graphics to play around with. This brings the theme up to a new, modern standard that includes many performance benefits. I also managed to tweak the views here and there to make the theme snappier. Please enjoy this new version, along with the COMMUNITY Theme Creator project files for you to play around with and create your own version of my theme.

  10. Eclipse

    Eclipse
Eclipse for BigBox is a different kind of theme.  Rather than using the normal theme engine, it uses a plug-in to build the user interface from the ground up.  The goal for this plug-in is to provide:
Netflix style user interface with multiple lists of games on the screen at one time Voice search Random game function
    Platform list view

    Game detail view

    Options for categorizing games

    Startup theme

    Shutdown theme

    Attract mode (screen saver)

    Demo

    Installation Instructions
    1. Download: https://forums.launchbox-app.com/files/file/3220-eclipse/
    2. Extract the contents to a folder
    3. Inside the Eclipse folder is a folder called LaunchBox
    4. Copy the Plugins, StartupThemes, and Themes folders
    5. Go to your Launch Box installation folder and paste the copied folders
    6. Open Big Box
    7. Esc to get to options
    8. Select Options > Views
    9. Set Theme to Eclipse
    10. Set Platforms List View to Platform Wheel 1
    11. If you want to use the startup theme, Options > Game Startup
        - Uncheck Show "Loading Game..." Message
        - Check Enable Startup Screen
        - Startup Theme: Eclipse
        - Minimum Startup Screen Display Time: 5 seconds
        - Maximum Startup screen Display Time: 5 seconds
        - Check Hide Mouse Cursor on Startup Screens
    12. Go back - the first time the theme starts will take a long load time to generate the image cache
    13. NOTE - If you get any errors, you can check the log file called Eclipse.txt in your LaunchBox folder and message me on the forums to let me know
    General usage
    - Up, Down, Left, Right - moves around
    - Enter - selects something
    - Escape - cancel or go back - pressing it will get you back to the BigBox settings where you can exit the application
    - Page Up - pick a random game
    - Page Down - voice search
    Bezels
    - Bezel images can be displayed around the preview videos
    - The system will first look for a game specific bezel. If not found, it will look for a platform specific bezel. If not found, it will look for a default bezel.
    - A few default bezels are provided with the installation. You can delete them from the folders specified below if you prefer the videos without bezels.
    Game specific bezels
    - The system tries to find a game specific bezel image in the following order:
    1. In plug-in media directory:
    ..\LaunchBox\Plugins\Eclipse\Media\Bezels\{PLATFORM}\{CleanGameTitle}.png
    - Here {CleanGameTitle} replaces any invalid characters with an underscore. Characters like ' and : cannot appear in file names so they are replaced with an underscore
    - For example: A bezel file for the game "19XX: The War Against Destiny" should have the following path and file name ..\LaunchBox\Plugins\Eclipse\Media\Images\Arcade\Bezel\19XX_ The War Against Destiny.png
    MAME bezels
    - If a game specific bezel isn't found in the plug-ins media folder as described above, then the program will look into the MAME installation folder. In order for MAME bezels to work, installing the bezel project for MAME would create files with this structure:
    ..\LaunchBox\Emulators\MAME\artwork{game.ApplicationFilePath}"Bezel.png"
    Retroarch bezels
    - Bezels installed by the bezel project for retroarch will go into a folder location like this:
    ..\LaunchBox\Emulators\Retroarch\overlays\GameBezels{RetroarchPlatform}{game.ApplicationFilePath}.png
    Platform specific bezels
    - These are used if there are no game specific bezels found
    - You can specify a different image for horizontally and vertically oriented games so that they fit appropriately
    - The platform specific bezel image files must have the following file names and locations:
    ..\LaunchBox\Plugins\Eclipse\Media\Bezels\{PLATFORM}\Horizontal.png
    ..\LaunchBox\Plugins\Eclipse\Media\Bezels\{PLATFORM}\Vertical.png
    System default bezels
    - These are used if there are no game specific or platform specific bezels found
    - You can specify a different image for horizontally and vertically oriented games so that they fit appropriately
    - The default bezel image files must have the following file name and location:
    ..\LaunchBox\Plugins\Eclipse\Media\Bezels\Platforms\Default\Horizontal.png
    ..\LaunchBox\Plugins\Eclipse\Media\Bezels\Platforms\Default\Vertical.png
    Looking for feedback
I'm looking for any suggestions that would make this theme better.  What's currently on my list for improvements:
New option to add a game to a playlist from the game detail screen New option to display game manuals from the game detail screen Improve image cache logic to better detect differences between LB images and plugin image cache Use VLC for video playback  Option to flip box art  This could be expanded a bit more to  Show achievements in game details Improvements to the options side-panel that opens up under the gear (add some icons and make it look a little less "blah") Several ideas for configuration options Default category and list to pick when opening  Minimum number of games required to be included in a category This would allow you to eliminate lists don't have more than 1 game showing in the series category for example Improvements to the loading screen to make it prettier Performance improvements for loading times by doing more work in the background Overhaul of entire codebase Support for any resolution or aspect ratio - currently this only works (well) on 16:9 screens Make game lists more dynamic - the implementation of the lists uses a bunch of static image controls  Localization If anyone thinks of anything that could make this theme better, I'd be interested to hear it!

  14. Flat and Classic Mini by exodus_cl

This was supposed to be a simple flat theme, but evolved into a 2 in 1, so you have the regular view which is flat and sleek and also you have available an optional view (per device) that resemble some classic mini consoles (including consoles that do not have mini versions as of yet).
    Features of this theme:
Simple flat version that runs fast and looks great. No flashy animations that may affect perfomance. Optional "Classic Mini" view for many systems. Every Classic Mini view has it's own background music. Improved original design of some "Classic Mini" (Such as PSX and Genesis). "Classic Mini" style views for consoles that do not have an oficial Mini version (such as PS2, WII, etc.). Platform/console selection with video (you need to download the video first from regular launchbox menu). First version (1.0.1) has most of the more known consoles in "Classic Mini" style: NES, GB, GBC, Sega Master System, SNES, Turbografx, Gega Genesis, N64, PSX, Dreamcast, Gamecube, PS2, WII, WiiU, etc.
    Recommended configuration:

    Platform selection

    Regular GameList View

    Optional "Classic Mini" view
    .
Video of the theme in action (no fancy editing for now)
Please follow my channel for updates and related content.

    NEON DELUXE ARCADE - 16:9
    -----------------------------------------------------
    CREDITS
Huge thanks goes out to @y2guru for his Community Theme Creator Software and his endless personal help, also he created the animated wheels for this theme! @Hexxxer for the original inspiration of his FutureState theme. @Rincewind for the inspiration on his use of the icons. @faeranfor explaining the new marquee options in v12. Thanks guys!
    -----------------------------------------------------
    INSTALLATION
    1. Download the theme here and place the folder in Launchbox/Themes/
    2. You might need to unblock the zip file or all the .DLL's in the plugin folder. Right click the zip or DLL files, choose properties and at the bottom you click "Unblock".
    3. I recommend doing the following to speed up Big Box greatly:
     - Uncheck all Background Images in Launchbox > Tools > Options > Media > Background Priorities
     - Set all transitions to "None" in BigBox settings
     - Use the Clean Up media tool in launchbox/tools/Clean Up Media... (this can really speed up lists with thousands of games and duplicate media)
     - Defrag the drive that holds your media files

Hope you like and enjoy! ?

    GenesisMini
This was more of a experiment and POC to see how well a Genesis Mini theme could be ported to the Big Box environment. This is not a fully fledge theme, but only 2 views, a basic platform view and a wall games view.
The theme was designed using the COMMUNITY Theme Creator, along with some manual code changes with the wall view file in order to utilize the new wheel CoverFlow features not yet currently in the Theme Creator.

  20. DarkRoom

    Intro
DarkRoom is a theme for BigBox that relies heavily on 1120x1080 fanarts / game illustrations and has been influenced by CoinOps design.
It has been designed for a 16:9 ratio, 1920x1080 resolution, and I know for sure that it displays correctly at 2560x1440.
This theme covers most home systems (around 10 still to be done) + windows indies + a few candy cabs for arcade specific playlist

    This theme has :
    - 1 platform view, which presents a delayed video with random games from the current platform/playlist. That means this theme doesn't need generic platform videos (except for meta category like Arcade, Computers, Consoles, etc ...); also, non auto-populated playlists will not display any video for now.
    - 2 game views: a wheel view and a text game view

    Configuration Files
In "Launchbox\Themes\DarkRoom\Views\Configurations", there are several xaml files (1 for each supported system).
In case one of your system has a different name from the one the theme is using (Example: "Arcade SNK Neo Geo MVS" instead of "SNK Neo Geo MVS"), you can just:
    - copy the xaml file and rename the copy with the name from your collection (or directly rename the original), but from an evolutive point of view, it would be better to create a xaml file "Arcade SNK Neo Geo MVS.xaml" with that inside (to simplify, the content makes it so that "Arcade SNK Neo Geo" inherits "SNK Neo Geo MVS" system)
    <ResourceDictionary xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml">
        <ResourceDictionary.MergedDictionaries>
            <ResourceDictionary Source="pack://siteoforigin:,,,/Themes/DarkRoom/Views/Configurations/SNK Neo Geo MVS.xaml" />
        </ResourceDictionary.MergedDictionaries>
    </ResourceDictionary>
    - change the name of the platform fanart / clear logos located in "Launchbox\Themes\DarkRoom\Images\<Platforms or Playlists>\<Fanart or Clear Logo>"

    Performances and cash management
Due to the animation handled by the theme, performance issues had to be addressed to somewhat mitigate them (I personnaly don't have any problem now).
A cash manager has been added to the theme to handle fanart sliding transition
You can configure it (WheelGameView.xaml and PlatformWheel4FiltersView.xaml) by modifying the following lines:
    <rs:ImageSliderControl.ImageManager>
        <rsm:GameImageManager CashEnabled="true" Quality="85" ProcessorCount="4" CashLimit="500"/>
    </rs:ImageSliderControl.ImageManager>
    - Set CashEnabled to false to disabled it
    - Set Quality to your liking (under 50 it becomes ugly, and more that 85 will raise RAM usage significantly)
    - ProcessorCount shouldn't be changed. I let it for testing purpose but will probably suppress it at some point. But if you do, set an even number, less or equal to your physical processor count (AKA without hyperthreading)
    - Set CashLimit (Mo) to your need. Depending on your fanart filesize, you may need to raise it. For my need I will probably raise it to 1000Mo (that should be around 6000 fanarts given the average size of mine).
Also note that cash is cleared every time a new gameview is entered, so you need to set its limit according to the system that has the most games (provided they each have their fanart - for me it is the ZX spectrum).

    Video

    _BB.mp4 Files in Download sections
    - DarkRoom.zip contains main theme files.
    - Fanart - Pack 1.zip, that contains "full" pack of fanarts for the following systems:
I will add more as time comes ...

    Special Thanx
@Rincewind for his time in helping me fix an issue with the theme. I would not have been able to figure out what was wrong alone.

  21. Vertical Aspirations - A vertically oriented cabinet theme

The long wait is over.... Since version 12 of Launchbox has been released, and new marquee image priorities are now in place, I couldn't see any reason not to release the next version of Vertical Aspirations.

    Changes to version 1.3
Removed the animated GIF joystick and added directional navigation bindings and png images to use in its place (joystick on screen now moves when you navigate the wheel). This should make the theme more responsive if/when BigBox has been opened for a long time.
Added Pinball game and platform views that are similar to the RetroFE frontend theme called CoinOps Arcade vs Pinball vs, etc, etc. There are two of these views that are identical except for the wheel spacing. This is helful if you use the docklets style of clear logos.
Added large vertical game and platform views that use a vertical curved wheel that disappears after a couple seconds of being stationary. Great for vertical game enthusiasts that want a vertical only experience.
Changed all the fullscreen background images to stretch (against my better judgement). This should make the 10x16 and 3x4 ratio crowd happy. Please note: the theme is still optimized for 9x16 ratio - videos will probably look funny stretched.
Added: Every single view (except the systems view) now has an invisible transparent overlay image. This image was introduced in the previous version but I believe it was missing in a few views. This image can be edited by the user to create an overlay to display their particular joystick, control panel, or any other label they would like to have displayed. This image is the top image in the z-order and basically covers the whole screen.
Games View Marquee Logic: Games view marquee area logic now works properly as of Launchbox Version 12. What this means for you? This means no more moving images around, and no more turning off the image priorities in box front image priorities settings (marquee image priorities were added in this version of Launchbox). Theme will look for a proper marquee image in \LaunchBox\Images\{Platform Name}\Arcade - Marquee and will fill (stretch) the image it finds into the designated marquee area. If no marquee image is found, a non-stretched clear logo will appear in the marquee area instead. Most marquees are close to the aspect ratio size of the theme's marquee area, so stretch will be minimal. In Launchbox versions prior to version 12, box art and other non marquee/logo associated images would appear in the marquee area if they were not turned off in image priorities. If you previously turned off box front image priorities in older versions of Launchbox, it is now safe to return them to default - in fact please do, as the theme now utilizes box front art that it previously couldn't due to this limitation that has been removed.
Platform View Marquee Logic: Platform view marquees function differently than Game Marquees within Launchbox. There is no actual platform marquee image category, and the platform banner images included in Launchbox have an odd shape that do not fit within Vertical Aspirations designated marquee area without being squished or stretched in an odd way. The oddly shaped, default platform banners also repopulate when you delete them from their folders which creates a problem with the way this theme works. Because of this, I have created several platform marquees that are stored in the \LaunchBox\Themes\Vertical Aspirations\Media\Platform Marquees folder that are used in the theme. If you want to change out the included platform marquees, you'll need to look for them here and not in the \LaunchBox\Images\Platforms\{Platform Name}\Banner folders. If you delete the included marquees from there, the platform clear logo will take it's place so there should always be something in the marquee area, it just won't be Launchbox banners. Thankfully, there are far fewer platforms than there are games, so adding these to the theme was trivial.
Additionally, I am including a 3x4 optimized version of the theme. The background had to be heavily modified so the videos can play in a (close to) correct ratio.
I'm including the Community Theme Creator files for both the regular 9:16 and 3:4 versions. I re-labeled and organized all the elements within the Community Theme Creator files to make it easier to open the theme and figure out what each item does. The 3:4 version of the theme is considered a lite version as it doesn't have all the individual platform views. It is what it is. The downloads are labeled CTC.

    VA 1.3 demo.mp4 INTRODUCTION
This theme was built for people who have vertically oriented monitors in their cabinets - 1080x1920. It is based off of the Bezel and Lay File how-to videos I found on Youtube by the user Chad Wedlake (https://youtu.be/NUTnWWlcL3A) and are used with his permission. The files he used are derivative of the VCabinet artworks by Antolin Aguirre ( http://www.vcabinet.es ).
When I started this theme, I was well into creating vertical bezels for use in various platforms with RetroArch. I found it a challenge to set up each platform in a vertical fashion. I'm not sure when, but it was at least a couple months back when I discovered the Community Theme Creator and started playing around with it a bit. Wow, is it ever easy to use. Particularly if you know how layers work in programs like Photoshop or GIMP. Anyways, I started with just importing a bezel I had created and then added the video behind the bezel. Added the marquee view for the arcade games that have marquees and just used clear logos for the ones that didn't. Worked out pretty good I thought so I kept going. Then I thought, how about a view for the Pinball FX, Future Pinball and Visual Pinball tables I have? Well now I have it to a point that I feel like it should be shared.
For best results, I suggest setting a hotkey within BigBox to allow you to scroll through the various platform and games views. Many popular console platforms have their own views, but all platforms will display just fine with the default wheel or text views. The special views for Pinball are full screen table video views that do not look good with regular console or arcade videos. This theme was not designed with second monitor support in mind for pinball backglass videos or other marquees.
This theme was not tested with Platform Category Views, Genre Views, Playlist Views, or any other non-platform oriented views, but I assume they should work OK as long as your media is set up for those views.
I do intend at some point to also release the vertical bezel files I've created for the various platforms. This theme and the bezel files work great together to add a more seamless transition between game and frontend.
You shouldn't need anything special to get the theme to work as long as you have good media files. The theme mostly requires a good set of clear logos, box art, and game cart/cd media. You will also need a good set of videos as well as vertically oriented Pinball videos if you want to use the pinball views.
I'll release updates as I refine the theme. If you discover any weird bugs or have reasonable requests, please let me know.
    CREDIT
I would like to thank Chad Wedlake for the use of his bezel template. @faeran for permission to use some of the xaml code from his excellent Vertigo Theme for the options views in the backend. @SonicFan53 for the clear platform images that the theme uses. And @y2guru for the excellent Community Theme Builder. I couldn't have done this without the Theme Builder. Incredible tool for theme building in BigBox! Thanks as always to @Jason Carr.

    About This Theme
The original idea I had for this theme was more complex I think but I didn't really like it when I was finished. Instead, I simplified it and tried to make it more clean.
I love the Colorful theme and how it has animation when selecting items and wanted to try something similar without actually copying it straight over.
If you have any suggestion I'm always all ears. The Theme Creator files are also included if you want to make any changes or additions as well.

    Notes
The Original Concept Theme Creator Files are my original design for this theme. If you publish either the dark blue or light blue version in the Theme Creator they are both usable themes. I just wasn't happy with them when they were finished.
The Final Theme Creator Files are the files for the theme I decided to go with and upload.
The No video version just has no background videos playing. The no animations version, has no lock or slide animations and no videos. The theme was changed a little bit so that the menus were still usable.

    Installation
Download the version of the theme you'd like. See the Notes section for a little more information. Extract the .zip files using windows explorer or your program of choice to your Launchbox/Themes folder. Go to theme settings in Big Box and switch to theme you like.
    Special Thanks
I have to give special thanks to @faeran for the wonderful theme creator videos on the Unbroken Software LLC Youtube channel. Also, I used Faeran's ESRB Images and Star Images in the original concept of this theme. Visit the Unbroken Software Youtube Channel Here
I also have to give a huge thank you to @y2guru for the very awesome Theme Creator. I cannot code and so without the theme creator I wouldn't be able to do any of this. Download the Theme Creator Here

  23. Mr C's Arcade

    INTRODUCTION
The arcade in my local hometown mall growing up was called Mr C's. This theme is a tribute to Mr C's, and all the quarters I spent there back in the 80's. I've heard of other Mr C's arcades, but I don't think ours was part of any chain or anything.

Preview.mp4 It may be a vsync issue or something else but the video makes the animations look kind of jerky. The theme actually runs pretty smooth.

    VIEWS
The way to think of this theme is not so much in terms of views, but more like rooms. The rooms are, Main Arcade, Pinball Row, and The Breakroom. If you must think in terms of views, each room has platform views and games views. The only real exception to the rule is the Breakroom also has text games views. This was done in order to render the Games Details Screen.

    INSTALLATION
Download the zip file and unblock it by right clicking the file, go into properties and check the unblock check box and click OK. Once the file is unblocked, extract the folder into ==\Launchbox\Themes\

    SWITCHING BETWEEN THEME VIEWS
In order to see the various games views for the different platforms, you'll need to change to each view. If you set a hotkey within Bigbox (Keyboard Mappings/Controller Mappings - Switch View) to change views, this makes it easy to change views without going into the settings each time.

    CTC FILES
The file titled: Mr Cs Arcade - Theme Builder Files is intended for anyone that wants to tinker with the theme. You'll need to unblock the files the same as how I described above.

    FUTURE UPDATES
As time permits, I'll attempt to keep this theme up to date. Please PM me with any suggestions, or issues you have with the theme.

    CREDIT
Thanks to @y2guru for the most excellent Community Theme Creator upon which this theme is built. @SonicFan53 for the device images which are included in this theme. As always, thanks to @Jason Carr .

    About This Theme
This is my second attempt with the Theme Creator. I tried incorporating some things I"ve learned from the Theme Workshop Videos. I know it's simple but this one took me a while to get where I wanted while learning. I also tried to keep everything more clean this time so if anyone is using the Theme Creator Files they should be easier to navigate than they were in my first one.
If you have any questions, comments, or requests please let me know. My week off work is coming to an end but I will definitely be using the theme creator some more.

    Notes
I created this on a 4k 55" tv at 1440p resolution with 125% display scaling. If you have any issues please let me know so I can try and fix them.

  25. COLORFUL bigbox theme

    ⚠⚠ WARNING ⚠⚠
I had some problems with some third party color management plugin which no longer works.
Fortunately @Jason Carr and @faeran save us by directly integrating some functionality into BigBox! Thanks to them!
Colorful is too much work for me alone. @faeran kindly offered to take charge of the theme dev and to migrate under the Community Theme Creator by @y2guru !! Awsome !
Please be patient, this rewritten version is coming soon and will fix the current issues! Thank you !!
Concerning myself, I will be able to concentrate on what I know how to do: graphics.   (Video set, theme view ... and more)
➡ You can download a beta of this new version here!

    # WHAT IS COLORFUL MEDIA SET ?
COLORFUL is a complete and coherent high quality graphic set, around a unique design. Made with love in France. I hope you like it ! ?
    Here are planned development axes:

COLORFUL Theme : The main hub, a unique interface for BigBox. COLORFUL Platform Video : Complete 4K video set, with a unique design. COLORFUL Source : To involve the community in the platform video creation. COLORFUL BigBox Startup Video : custom video to match the general design. (new) COLORFUL Startup Theme : (soon) COLORFUL Pause Theme : (soon)
    # HERE IS COLORFUL THEME FOR BIGBOX:
On this page we are talking about COLORFUL Theme for BigBox:
Design for work with my platform video set, COLORFUL THEME is thought to be used on the big screen (TV) in gaming console mode.
Modern, elegant and animated are the key words of this interface.
The COLORFUL project is getting too big for me alone.
@faeran  has taken over the source code of the theme. A BIG THANKS to you for your support and your precious help !!

    # IN DETAIL ?
    The main features :
16:9 only. (Works on other ratio, but with black bands) Full 4K asset. (Any resolution must work, 4K assets) Totally responsive. No resolution deformation on text size or placement. Because of the white/black background, some ClearLogo comes with the theme. Gamepad connection indicator & battery level.
    # RECOMMENDATION ?
Any design choice gives limitations. Here are some recommendations for this theme :
LaunchBox/BigBox v.10.0 (and up) VLC highly recommended. Design for work with COLORFUL platform video set. (but you can use any video you what) Beware of full white/black ClearLogo. They will be invisible on Light/Dark views! I didnt test this theme on a lowend configuration. There may be slowdown. (Curious to have your feedback on this subject!)
    # COOL, HOW TO DOWNLOAD ?
    2 ways :
In Windows : Right here, with the download button. Extract the "Colorful" folder and place it in your "LaunchBox/Themes" directory.   (dont rename it!)  In BigBox : Option > Theme manager > Found "COLORFUL - Light" or "COLORFUL - Dark".
    # SPECIAL THANKS !
@Jason Carr for his hard work on LaunchBox/BigBox! Thx man! @faeran for his hardwork on this theme and all other one !  @y2guru for the awsome Community Teme Creator ! To all Patreon guys! A GIANT THANKS to all of you!!! ? The whote community for yout support! # CREDITS !
