im still trying to get the sega genesis to work correctly.. So far i have nes, snes, pc engine, mame, sega master system, gameboy, gameboy color, gameboy advance, virtual boy, sega 32x, atari jaguar, atari 2600 atari 7800 Still not working: n64, 3do,nds,game and watch,sammy atomiswave,sega cd,sega dreamcast,sega genesis,sega naomi,sega saturn, sony playstation s

mohanned85, have you tried to rename folders in /config to match the core name? i had to do that for a few of the consoles.

I'm trying to apply this config file to some of the other consoles. I cant see any folder for 3do in the config folder in retroarch??

Ateb, that line worked!! thank you. it loads a decent default bezel. Can i use something like that on the other platforms. Like n64 ?

not sure why you say that. i already posted, that i re downloaded all my roms with the proper names and they are working with the exception of the ones that cant find a bezel. I'm very grateful for assistance and always report results in hopes it may help others. I have followed direction from all responses.

or.. how can i tell retroarch to load a vanilla bezel or no bezel when it cant find a bezel for a given game?

ateb, i have atari bezels but dont work . the folder name is stella_libretro. should it be something else for the 2600?

ok, i re imported all my roms with the correct names. most systems now play correctly with the correct bezels. the only ones not workin are the atari roms they all play with the 1941 bezel.

but how do i get the consoles to read the bezels from the correct folders again? also mame is not affected for some reason. retro arch playe the mame games with the correct bezels

i changed it to false. But still, the same issue. I just attari 2600 game, and they all show the 1941 bezel from mame

its set to true, but if i change this to false, wouldn't that mean that if make changes to cores settings, like resolution and controls, it wouldn't save on exit?

so this morning i tried to play a snes game and now all the snes games have the 1941 bezel lol. the only thing i did was renamed that folder above.

i dont know what was wrong, finally I just deleted the folder and re downloaded the bezels , rename the folder like you told me and now it works!!!

i see a message that says configuration override loaded could that be changing something?

i changed it back to fb alpha since it didnt work.

i rename fb alpha 2012 folder to MAME but no bezels. here is my file structure.

Also im using the falpha2012_libretto core do I still rename the folder to just mame?
