Syriacn said Is this possible? I just started my MS-DOS collection, but when I imported it, it went under PC which my steam and modern PC collection is. Is is possible to create custom platforms, like a MS-DOS platform. Thanks
You can change the platform to what ever you want. The GamesDB doesn't have an MS-DOS section, which Jason and I are going to try and fix in the future with a custom database. This is a problem we're all facing. My best advice for now, change all of your Steam games to Steam, import your DOS games then change them all to DOS. Ctrl + A to select all the entries in a view, i.e. press Ctrl + A to select all of your PC Steam titles, then right click one and edit. The mass Edit option will pop up and you can change any of the values from there. Once that's all set you can set your Steam games back to PC if you want. I personally keep Steam, DOS, GOG, Origin and Desura games separate.

Im trying to add some custom platforms myself but I feel like Im missing something. Ill add it under manage platforms but when I go to import the roms its not available. Basically I want to create a new platform that only shows NES rom hacks. Is this currently possible? Thanks for any help. Also Launchbox is amazing! Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the response! I tried typeing in my custom platform (after I added it in manage platforms) and I keep getting 0 games imported. I know the rom works because I also have it loaded under regular NES games. Edit: I figured out why I couldnt get the rom to import. Because it was already imported, you cant reimport to a differant platform from an existing platform folder. Simply copy to desktop and reimport to new platform. Thanks again for the help.
