Can't re-add deleted game

Step one: Import a game Step two: Delete the game from LaunchBox Step three: Import the game again Step four: Watch as 0 games are imported How do I change step four?

I had a similar problem not too long ago, and theres a thread about it in the Noobs section, but need more info. How exactly did you delete the game from launchbox? It sounds like you're not completely deleting it for whatever reason. For instance, I deleted the system and all my games stayed in LaunchBox but under the "All" menu, and I had to go in there, select them all, and delete them like that before I could reimport them.

I select the game in the library and hit my delete key. It asks "Are you sure you wish to permanently delete ____?" and I select yes.

Okay I deleted two games. One of them was able to be re-imported. The other was not.

you have to be more specific man. But check and see if the one that won't import is in the ALL section. If it is, delete it.

Yea I do wonder if the game is still there, but kind of hidden. Another option is update to the beta, which you can enable in the options, and see if that fixes it.

I figured out the problem. The game that I deleted was "Godzilla - The Series." I already had "Godzilla - The Series - Monster Wars" in my library. The metadata puller considers these two the same game in thegamesdb. I removed "Godzilla - The Series - Monster Wars" and added both games back at the same time. It worked.
