I have video files from my original xbox emulators. They play fine in vlc media player. I was wondering if launch box supported them? It would be a hassle to download new videos if I already have them, just in another format.

You may need to convert them which could probably be almost as much as a hassle as downloading them. Really it won't be LaunchBox that supports them it will most likely matter on whether or not Windows Media Player supports that format.

Yea LaunchBox and BigBox don't inherently support specific types of media files, rather it uses what your computer can already play. A decent rule of thumb is, if it plays in Windows Media Player then LB/BB will probably play it just fine. Personally, the K-Lite Media Codec Pack made WMP (when I used to it) play everything I threw at it, and people used to say MKV wouldn't work on it. It did though. So it should be dependent on what you have installed. http://codecguide.com/download_k-lite_codec_pack_standard.htm If it doesn't play after that then there isn't going to be too much we can do, especially because that is a very niche container, and you're the first person to ask about it.

rich2k4 said If I do end up getting them working. Is it just a matter of making sure the video file name matches the rom file name?
Yea pretty much. Super Mario Bros. (USA) works just ask much as Super Mario Bros..
