Drybonz
This is probably about as simple a problem as possible, but I can't figure it out. I want to simply search my entire game collection instead of just one platform. It seems like there may have been an "all games" platform at some point? I may have deleted it and now can't figure out a simple way to search through all games. My preference would be for the search to always search all games and then be able to drill down by platform for what I want, but it doesn't seem like that is possible. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
DOS76
I have an all options in my platforms but I noticed the other day on one of my installs that all was changed to (exists) and I don't know why but on this computer all is still there. When searching in all it shows all the games lumped together I don't know if adding a custom filter would allow you to see them separated by platform or not
Drybonz
DOS76 said When searching in all it shows all the games lumped together Yeah, that's exactly what I'm looking to do... it's helpful when you are trying to find games in a franchise that spanned multiple platforms, etc... Drybonz
Ok, I found it... it's in options > side bar > "all" setting.
DOS76
Good to know I've never been into that section of options so i didn't even know that was there and that explains why I have the (exists) field somehow that boxes must have gotten checked but I don't recall consciously setting it myself. Drybonz
I think I probably un-checked it trying to figure out what the option was for and then forgot that I had done it.
SentaiBrad
Oh... you guys didn't have that checked? Huh... I never thought about unchecking it. That's odd to me how people differ in small things like that. I find it fascinating.
DOS76
I had it checked I just had one install the other day switch from having all to having (exists) out of nowhere. I didn't even know that this setting even existed to be turned on or off until post 4 of this thread.
