DOS76 said I'm glad you did this way you could teach me how to move stuff around without having to re-import everything again. Also maybe there could be and FAQ added to keep these questions from being asked over and over again.
a FAQ whould be great.... as i told in the first post, this Emumovies bug (reach daily limit and won't add games anymore) toke my a time to find out and forced me to reinstall. Greetings!

How do I set up Multi-disc games in LaunchBox? For multi-disc games in LaunchBox you will need to use the built in additional apps feature. Right click the game you want to set the additional app for and once inside the edit form go to the additional app tab. Click Add additional app Name the additional app whatever you want to call it ie Disc 2 or Final Fantasy VII disc 2 whatever is easiest for you. From there add the games path and make sure the use emulator check box is checked. Do this for each additional disc that is for your game. Exit the additional apps form then exit the edit form now right click on the game and you will see the additional disc added to the games context menu. Feel free to use this or any variation of it you may like.

SentaiBrad said The daily limit is something we can't fix, but the bug is fixed by updating to the Beta. Yea, I am going to create that FAQ. If anyone see's this and wants something added to it, please let me know. I will start compiling it.

i't s checked...but i can try one time! Because i decieded to Oganize My Collection Clean befor importing, Sort out all Bios,Proto,Beta,REV,Alt,Korea,Brazil etc, So i only have the Euro/USA games to import and Non Doubles, can't wait to see a more complete cover display in LaunchBox .-) And i got even a Solution to import all Amiga Games that have more than 1 Disk: I seperate all Disk 2-xx and Disk B-x and Disk0 with the Search function, put them in a Folder Called "Disk 2" of course you have to check the Disk2 Folder again for Disk1 Files (Some Games with nummber 2 and Disk1 in the text mostly) it took 30minutes to sort 4500 files and finally reduced to 2500 files in a Folder where every File is 1 Game and no duplicates! So i can now import just that folder and got it all in clean....if i need disk2 or so i just can open it in the other folder or add disk to in applications at a induvidual Game! Same Technique you can make with other Systems: If you Need Disk 2 in a same folder u can just Backup the Disk1 folder and Merge Disk1 and Disk2 folder after importing just the Disk1 folder.....so you can go Import anytime new if needed without the work again! Hope this Trick is Bugfree :-) well still not tested all...ben on for over 3 weeks now :-) since Rebooted my Amiga and GB's coming in day & night :-D Have a Nice Day!

hi! Finally got my Collection Cleaned and Ready for a new install... 1G 1R Tutorial for any System: Found a Fast and Save way to get 1Game 1Rom out of these endless Folders: To make it short: i just pre-sort a folder into the regions E,US,JP etc, after that i run a programm called Bulk Rename Utillity to remove everything after the game title that starts after "(".....then removing all the "(" and trim the last space after the title: the final change whould be: Afterburner.adf and because you get a few files with the same exact name now, you can make it to delete all but keep 1! Of course it can't chose automaticly the best Version but you will end up with a 1G1R Game Collection, what you have to do first is make a Backup of your Collection if you need to Replace a Game later AND you need to search for ALL NON Disk 1/01/A and save them in a Folder because you Need them Unchanged in there name to find later..... ...now i whould Backup the Renamed Games again and Adding the US,JP or any other Folder i got Divided at the beginning but also Renamed: that way you can only add Games that are missing from US to the EU, just skip the ones you got already in EU Version and so on with Japan etc........ Now you can Check for last Duplicates wit DupeGuru a programm where you can set the filter to 99% or less to find games that match not 100% --- Now you can add the Folder to your Launchbox and getting all 1 Game Collection!!!

SentaiBrad said Go in to the options and see if the Beta Update box is checked. If it's not, check it and restart.
as i testet it last night befor the new install: i have to say i still got the error: Can't import any Games after re-used the emumovies function First i did add a folder with 4000 Amiga games but was missing a lot of games after import, then i add another collection with 7300 C64 games to reach the limit.....it .just added 6000 or so after that i added few more systems, still working but curious on NeoGeo it do only add the metal3jp.zip name and no cover. then after a while i says on every import 0 Games Added, even deleting the collections did not help,Beta ON. Good i have checked befor did the Finall install ;-)

added C64 Platform and wanna make a second called C64 II, but it won't import games that where already importet on C64.... so i delete C64 and wanna just import C64 II..... but it looks like there is no way importing it again without reinstall the whole programm... that sucks, you can't even import a Favorite Game folder and have to browse the endless list... or you spend hours picking everything out of 7000 games???

Did you delete all the games using control + A or did you just remove the platform? If you just removed the platform then the games are all still there and that is why you can't add them again go to the all platform and you will still see your C64 games there. Also if you made the new platform today there is a good chance that one of the files in your backup folder will be from before you added the new platform to use the backup files you have to either move rename or delete your existing XML copy one of the backups into the LB folder and rename it LaunchBox.XML. You shouldn't ever have to just completely start over that would be insane and take so much work.

Yeah to properly delete all games from a platform you have to go into that platform and use control+a to select all the games and then right click and choose delete. You aren't the first person who has had trouble with that. One of my first post on this forum was asking how to delete a platform I even missed the manage platform option which turned out to be a good thing until someone explained how to do it.
