Cant get Dreamcast to work

Everyone uses the forums just fine. The same process there would be the same here. Take the screenshot, upload it to Imgur or somewhere and copy the link or click the "img" button above where you type a post here on the forums and put the link in there.

Yea except for the track's and bin files, you should be able to just load the cdi or gdi right on in to Demul. You just load the file in to the emulator provided you have the proper BIOS files.

So thats both shenmues both separate files

So when i try to load them it says Unable to find 'mpr-21931.ic501'dc'

Yea you should have probably led with the error code. A quick search and one of the top results: "You need to create a zip file named dc.zip and but all the Demul BIOS files in that (including mpr-21931.ic501) and put that in Demul's roms folder." Maybe Derek can advise further, but like I said make sure you have the right BIOS files and make sure they're selected properly. More or less following the video, and if your BIOS don't work you'll need to find a different set.

I dont see a rom folder in Demul

Yea I don't know what that is specifically about, but I set my BIOS path in the settings to a folder that included all my BIOS files, then selected one from the BIOS drop down menu.

Thanks for all your help guys i guess il just have to give up on the dreamcast for right now untill i can get some one to help me on hangouts screen share or something so they canwalk me through it step by step

We've given you all the tools and the tutorials are video instructions. You do have all you need to move forward.

This might help you i have had this happen to demule after already working great but moving it or saveing it to another disk...the only fix that worked for me was to ...just go get a fresh DL from their site , then drop the bios files in to a new folder and name it "roms" and see if that works for ya...peace

here is what you need to do to get it to work copy code, put it in batch file name it "run.bat" and put in demul folder. now edit your rom path in the batch file. now point you game in LB to "run.bat" to start it

Note: if your starting a .cdi .gdr you must set "image" not "rom" also if you just use "demul.exe -help" it will show you all your cmd Options...enjoy lovin me some "sturmwind" right now
