Categories View per system

I posted this on the troubleshooting subforum but I think it didn't belong there since I got 0 answers while every other single topic was answered so here I am trying again:

I'd like to use the categories view option inside a single system.

When I pick a category from the BigBox options menu the gamelist shows every single game from that category that I have in my game library, that means all systems are all mixed up and what I'd like to do is pick a system then view the games that match the selected category for the system I have selected.

Not sure if it makes any sense since english is not my first language but I hope someone will understand what I mean.

Okay so you are looking to be able to filter by both platform and genre at the same time which isn't possible at the moment in BigBox. You could make a BitBucket ticket or look for one already made as I think more levels of filtering has been requested in the past.

You probably mean nested filters. You can vote for this feature on Bitbucket:

Yes, nested filters, that's it! Any idea when this feature will be coming?

Unfortunately I can't make any promises as we do have a lot on our plate and there are also a lot of highly voted tickets. But hopefully in the next couple of months, though I can't say for sure.
