Thanks Seaview, but I've still got so many to go through so I kind off set time limits per logo I want to spend on it.
Maybe when the gamesDB has reached 80% completion I might remove those time limits 😁
But for now, I think u, me and other contributors here have more than enough left to do.

Awesome work with the high quality logos, kudos to all contributors.

I have just one request to anyone who uploads these awesome logos to the database; Please replace lesser quality logos with the new ones if they are identical. It's just useless extra work to go and request a deletion of a lesser quality duplicate. If there's two or more logos for the same region, LB will download one at random and users might not get the best quality ones for their build.

When i submitted a bunch of these Logos i was requesting a deletion of the lesser quality logos. Every request was rejected. I was told i didn't know how to use the app. So i gave up. I do request a delete when it is a duplicate or just looks like complete garbage. So i wasn't sure if people think they need the lesser quality logos or what.

I've had the same problem a couple of times, delete request being denied and reasons being "no", "no" and ".". For that reason alone it's easier and better to just replace the lower quality image with the better one, removing one extra step in the process.

Launchbox download media should have an extra option...or inside Launchbox it should have a setting which u can enable.
That users can download all media...low quality (lower size) and high quality...and that they can set a preference for the higher quality in launchbox and bigbox.

For instance, a game...double dragon...it has 4 clear logo's...3 low quality ones, 1 high quality...that if I set preference for 'always show highest quality'...even skipping region preference...that in LB and BB I would have the HQ clear logo.
Now I think it is hit and miss which one is shown in LB and BB.

For me personally...I have a high end system with lots of ram and disk space and gen5 disks running at 15000Mb/s...so I could care less if all logo's are 2MB or up. I just want to see the best clear logo's possible.
I think a lot of media hoarders here would agree with me😁

For other users that have lower systems...they check a box...to only show LQ images...

Anyway, no idea if DEVS have thought about this or not?

I didn't know that you could just replace the logo with a new one. Will do this from now on. 

I also agree a switch to show LQ or HQ logos is a good idea.  

Was also thinking that people use the database for other emulation front-ends. and need the smaller pixel size for things like a Anbernic handheld. 🤷‍♀️
