Lordmonkus
Go into your Project64 install folder, then into the "Config" folder and look for the file "Project64.cfg". Open it in notepad or any other text editor you want and look for: [Support Project64] Run Count= and change whatever number is there to -1 It should now look like this: [Support Project64] Run Count=-1 Save the file and nag screen is gone. 4

Lordmonkus
I should have added I did not figure this one out. Was just reading over on /r/emulation and a user over there posted about it.
Imgema
It doesn't work anymore? The config file doesn't seem to do anything : /
Lordmonkus
Hmm Well I would never see it anyways because I run it through LB because in the settings I turned off "Use ROM browser" in the ROM selection section and the Options section turn on "Enter full-screen mode when loading a ROM"
Imgema
Ok i found it. The emulator generated the cfg somewhere else outside the root folder. I put it back in the config folder and it works now.

Graham4586
Thanks Lordmonkus I'm happy to support good software but the strong arm tack-tics of Project64 asking/begging for money when you just started using it is too much and also very irritating. Nothoro
Such a beautiful piece of software that was coded, works great and seemed to overlook something so simple? This works, thank you and I do plan on contributing to the author.

justinforasec
This isn't working for me, could the code have changed too much since this topic was brought up in 2016? I'm seeing an extra line now- [Support Project64] Experiment Version=2 Run Count=-1 Thank you! Edited July 18, 2021 by justinforasec

unounited
For anyone that wants to stop this nuisance in 2022, open project64 then close the window quick, then open project64 again, that stopped the nag screen from popping up for me. If it doesn't work, you need to use the latest development version for project64. Edited July 13, 2022 by unounited
neil9000
Or you know use a actual good N64 emulator.
