Platform Videos Don't Play

No matter what I try, platform videos won't play. I have them downloaded, the video path is set correctly in the "Edit Platform" menu, and they're checked to play in the Big Box options, yet still nothing. I also tried VLC and WMP as the video player. I've tried without themes and with themes. No luck with anything so far.

I'm on the latest beta, Win10 x64 with a 1080 16:9 screen.

Dumb question but have you tried to change the platform view? There are a couple of views which don’t support any platform videos.

Not a dumb question at all, that fixed it.

That's one of the only complaints I have with my purchase so far. There are lots of tutorials for what to me seem like the simple things that most people using emulators would more than likely know, but there's nothing for stuff like this.  Like, unless you told me that certain platform views don't work with videos, how would I have figured it out?

Anyway, I don't mean to sound complainy, because overall, I'm very happy with the purchase.

Don't worry just ask questions here and someone/multiple someones will lead you in the right direction that's what we do here teach and learn sometimes both at the same time.

When I was doing the theme tutorial only game videos were a thing, platform videos didn't exist. I wonder how I could update that stuff without making a 1 or 2 min video... I'm open to updating or creating new tutorials.
