sic
Hi, As the topic says, is there a way to add JoyToKey to all games automatic so that it starts with the emulator/game and ends when emulator closes . I saw that you could add this manually game by game but that aint a option on thousands of games. So have I missed something or is that not possible (yet?)? DOS76
There are ways to run .bat files that include the the emulators .exe and will launch joy2key with the emulator and exit when the emulator closes. Once you have that done you can you replace the emulator .exe in LB with the .bat as the emulator and it will take care of it. Hopefully someone who knows more about writing a .bat than I can help you out with that part of it.
DOS76
What C64 emulator are you using that need Joy2Key I don't emulate it personally but I've read that at least 2 of the more popular emulators support controller support right out of the box. sic
Ok, I was actually wondering about a .bat file. But I doesnt know how it can check if JoyToKey is running when terminating the .bat through LB?. Maybe I can edit the Commodore 64.xml file to add "AdditionalApplication" instead if I can come up with a idea on how to automaticly add all entries with the right GameIDs. Im running CCS64 at the moment and the keys I want to emulate is diskchange, joystick switching, space key and some other must have keys when running C64. Would be nice if I could eliminate the use of a real keyboard
sic
Can add that I have also tried to solve the keypresses with a AHK script but the damn "ALT"-key always get "stuck" so it messes things up for me. So thats why I have choose JoyToKey to see if it could solve my problems Edited January 6, 2017 by sic
DOS76
Makes sense. The .bat file if written correct will have the parameters to both Launch and Kill joy2key as far as I've seen i don't think it checks if its running so much per say but sends the command to kill it so if its running it should shut it down. sic
Thanks for the tip. Will have to see what I can come up with if I fail with editing the XML file
sic
Sorted for now, generated my own Commodore 64.xml containing AdditionalAplication for each game.

slimskinny
Hi Guys, im a bit of a noob. is there any possibility of a step by step turorial on joytokey front? i apologise if im in the wrong thread or missed something obvious. but this is the most frustrating part for me. getting multiple controllers to play nice with the emulators.
