Lordmonkus Posted January 30, 2017 Share Posted January 30, 2017 I don't think there are any settings in Demul that you need to set but I am also not 100% certain of that. I had a look in my Demul settings and couldn't find anything related to it. But I do recall that certain versions of Demul behave differently, some versions I had troubles getting to work. Although now that I think about it (I would have to try it and see) you could maybe still use the same install but have 2 different "emulators" in Launchbox. One called Demul Dreamcast and the other Demul Atomiswave and have them both pointing to the same demul install but with the different LB settings like the "Use file name only" check box. Edit: After some more looking at it that is exactly what I did. It's the same install just 2 different emulators in LB. I really need to go through my LB emulators list and clean out all the junk from testing shit helping people troubleshoot problems, lol. So at final my Atomis roms are in both 2 folder 1) in the same folder of demuel bios 2)in a folder where launchbox go to find there I have setup 2 different demul emulator name in LB that call the only .exe file of demul But the question is is all normal? and now if i wanna setup NAOMI 1 2 that i have in a separate folder i have ti put them in demul bios to work? Lordmonkus Posted March 9, 2018 Share Posted March 9, 2018 You don't need your roms and bios all in the same folder, you can add more than one path in the Config > Plugins and Paths window. It is a good idea though to setup multiple emulators in Launchbox (pointing to the same Demul install). You will need to set the appropriate command line parameters but depending on the system you are emulating there may be different check boxes in the Edit Emulator window. For example Dreamcast and Atomiswave emulation needs different settings. I am not sure what Naomi requires exactly since I don't have it setup. gladiorosso Posted March 9, 2018 Share Posted March 9, 2018 i try to setup naomi with a third emulator name in LB. in your picture of demul path "rom and bios" i have only one chance in a FOLDER that contain all bios file for dc,atomis e naomi. I prefer to have 3 separate foldere for roms for a clean brain system and my health also! i suppose multiple choice give conflict to demul....
