How do I arrange the order systems are listed in?

So it's been talked about a bunch that we are now able to arrange the platforms in an order we want.  I for the life of me can't figure out how.  Can someone explain to me what I do so I can sort by Platform but have them listed in an order that I choose?

Hi heelsinc,

Pretty simple. In launchbox, right click on a platform and click edit.
At the bottom of that new window you should see a field called order platform or so thing like that.
Basically the platforms will be ordered by whatever you type there.

For instance if in the snes platform I type "aaa" in that specific field and I type "zzz" in that field in the arcade platform.

Snes will be ordered before arcade.
The platform you don't edit that field will be ordered by their name.

is the option called sort title?

Nevermind that's what it's called just tested it.  Now the question is do I keep them grouped by company then release year or just release year.......

Its really weird. My Arcade platform is the only one keeping the order when I base the order on numbers 1 -15 when I go to big box. It orders correctly in Launchbox though.

I like to order my systems by Year-Month-Day. 1984-07-22 for example. A quick Google search will give you that info.
