paul78
Hi all, complete noob here! I just discovered Launchbox a few days ago and thought I’d dive straight in and purchase BigBox - absolutely loving the slick layout, I’m using a Zotac nano box with i3-5010 and 16gb ram running Windows 10. GameCube, Wii, PS1 & Dreamcast all running smoothly I’m struggling with a few things though which I can’t find answers to on the web, and hoping I can get some guidance on here! Items I have hidden in Launchbox still appear in recent items in BigBox Platform view, how do I fix this? I have toggled ‘show hidden items’ in BigBox, deleted and re-created playlists but the hidden items still show up there. I know they’re hidden because they have no artwork, and I’ve marked all those as hidden. Is it a bug with the recent items list? I have also downloaded custom themes from here, then tweaked images such as replacing platform banner art and clear logos etc. I’ve then changed themes and noticed that my tweaks are still there in the new theme, so I’m confused as to how I should correctly adjust images so that switching themes will also switch all artwork to the new theme, does that make sense or have I misunderstood how themes work? Platform banner art was edited by right clicking on the platform name in Launchbox, then adding a new image and changing the original image type to “fan art” to effect the change. Is there a better way? Also where are these images saved? When I search these folders they are empty: \LaunchBox\Themes\ThemeName\Images\Platforms\Banner When I search this folder, the image I added for the platform banner isn’t there: \LaunchBox\Images\Nintendo 64\Banner Sorry for all the questions, just a noob in need of some help

So when you change these images, then install a new theme, shouldn't the images change with the new theme? Can you save the changes to an existing theme? DOS76
I believe some themes have their own folder structure and you can put images in there and it will overide what is in the default images folder but I don't think changing them in the folder I pointed to will allow you to use different ones but I'm not sure as i haven't delved to deeply into the feature.
