Just go the latest version and its weird that when I add it to LB it works to launch the games without any issues but if I try to open it without a game (from both the right click context list in LB and straight up in File Explorer) it just flashes on screen and then disappears. Anyone else seeing this issue?

LOL, that's what i thought was just checking. I am still using mame 0.184 with a 0.184 set so can't help you there unfortunately.

Well I installed and then copied a bunch of stuff from my previous build to the new folder so I did another fresh install and it works so its something in my settings I guess.

What is that used for then? I use MAMEUI 64 so don't mess with the .ini files. All i normally do is copy over the artwork folder and the cfg folder for all my game specific controller bindings.

It turns on the plugins it has a list of them in the ini file and either a 0 or 1 value for on and off. That's what a lot of the settings in MAME.ini are just 1's and 0's

If console is set to 1 in the plugin.ini the UI will not launch I had it edited before to 1 even though I wasn't sure what it actually did.

Good information for others stumbling across this thread.
