bomberswarm2 Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 I'm trying to run CRash Bandicoot, got the game, got the cue, click the game, the cursor changes to loading for about half a second, then nothing. Realise I forgot the bios, obtained the bios, nothing. Configured Retroarch to the right folder for the bios, still nothing. Change the target file from .cue to .bin, nothing happens. SNES works with retroarch, double click, started, no problems. Can't get ps1 games to run. Anyone know how to fix it? Quote
Lordmonkus Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 Do your PS1 games load if just load the game using Retroarch outside of Launchbox ? Quote
chglcu Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 If it doesn't load from within Retroarch either, make sure you have the correct versions of the bios. The PS1 core requires these specific files (from some wiki, and they work for me): SCPH5500.bin - (NTSC-J) Required for Japan-region games. SCPH5501.bin - (NTSC-U) Required for North America/US-region games. SCPH5502.bin - (PAL) Required for Europe-region games. Quote
ckp Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 you might want to try stand alone emulator ePSXe for PS1. i like it better than RA. but RA should work too if you really want to use it. Quote
