It hasn't been all quiet, @Jason Carr has done streams and a few posts including new beta releases getting ready for the next official release. Yes, Jason hasn't been as active on the forums as he has in the past but it is the summer time and he's been spending time with the family and working quietly on some background stuff.

Jason won't give up this project it's his baby.   summer is tough when you have kids home form school.  Something good is cooking i can smell it.  oh wait I left the coffee pot on.

I wouldn't worry at all. Tons of projects have slow down eventually. A lot of things Jason has been working on are not considered the bells and whistles but more so on performance and back end things. The forum upgrade is a prime example. He is also working on some mysterious major surprise. Just hang in there. Most front end's are not lucky enough to have a dev that communicates with his user base as much as Jason does. Trust I have come from and seen much much worse.
