Screen tearing in Mame

Hi All

sorry to post again

question - running Mame.184 and certain games I am getting tearing and artifacting

is there a setting i can change to remove this ?

I believe it is called syncrefresh.

That one is called Syncronized Refresh. It must differ in some way to Vsync as there is a Wait for vertical sync option right underneath it. Maybe two methods of achieving the same result? I use the wait for vertical sync option and it seems to work fine.

Honestly, I am not sure, I run with it off cause of my G-Sync monitor.

I'm probably not replacing it for a good long time as I tend to use things till the break rather than just upgrade to better while they are fine, with some exceptions like my 6 year old PC that would just refuse to die. But Gsync is one of the top priorities next time I'm buying a monitor, unless a better option comes out in the mean time.
