natemac00
Does anyone have a place to get SANWA buttons and joysticks? I'm reluctant trusting these eBay sellers, and the Amazon ones are a little better but still... Is there a way to tell genuine ones over knock-offs.? Lordmonkus
You can buy them on Amazon and a quick Google search came up with this site https://www.arcadespareparts.com/arcade_parts/sanwa_parts.html

Lordmonkus
I have never bought any but you can ask over on the arcadecontrols.com forums and see what they say http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=fumoqplb0an0tbuj89prb4baa1& There is also this site which I have read good things about https://paradisearcadeshop.com/
DOS76
I got these parts and they work great and are reasonably priced best part the encoders are seen as gamepads and not keyboards making setup very easy. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WAY9848/ref=sxts_bia_sr_1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=3182441022&pd_rd_wg=ym2fH&pf_rd_r=SYX3PC3ZA2V3268SGZAH&pf_rd_s=desktop-sx-top-slot&pf_rd_t=301&pd_rd_i=B00WAY9848&pd_rd_w=ZsRKv&pf_rd_i=arcade+buttons+and+joystick&pd_rd_r=ZE3E3MYHWA3HNT6FGG70&ie=UTF8&qid=1506020948&sr=1 Edited September 21, 2017 by DOS76

I could not get xPadder or x360ce to work well, so I bought a xInput control and rewired the it so it would work with arcade buttons. Long(er) story short I couldn't figure out how to wire in the buttons to light up and work with the xInput controller so Im going to save those for another project and thought I'd buy Sanwa buttons for my DIY xInput arcade stick. DOS76
yeah I don't have that much horse power in my machine just used a old PC I had lying around so no desire to play PC games on it. Funny I like mine because they are a gamepad and you actually need them to be a keyboard for your purpose.
OrochiSerge
focusattack.com is also a great place, that is where I get most of my Sanwa stuff. Though the stick itself is a little cheaper on Amazon. Edited November 1, 2018 by OrochiSerge
r3dux
I've bought parts from paradisearcadeshop before (replaced the joysticks and buttons in my X-Arcade stick) and they were fine. The only issue I had is that I currently live in Australia so had to use an additional postal service to get them shipped to the AU because PAS don't post outside of USA (so you end up posting to a repost depot inside USA which then forwards to you wherever. Costs a little more but I couldn't find any other options to get the parts I wanted).
