snoopaloop83 Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 Hello, I know that Lanchbox has a feature for changing the emulator on the fly at launch. But is there anyway to change the core per launch? Some of my n64 and psx games run better with different cores, it would be awesome if i could change them on the fly as well. 1 Quote

If you know the specific games you want to use a different core for you can just edit the game in question, and add a custom command line like you would in the edit emulator tab to specify a different core for that game only. snoopaloop83 Posted November 18, 2017 Author Posted November 18, 2017 Are you speaking of the box i have highlighted in the image below? For example i want to use mednafen_psx_hw_libretro.dll to run this game. What would i put in the command line? Quote
neil9000 Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 (edited) Yes, check the box for command line, then add the core you want to use there, so -L "cores\mednafen_psx_hw_libretro.dll" Edited November 18, 2017 by neil9000 Missed a part of the command line. 2 Quote
snoopaloop83 Posted November 18, 2017 Author Posted November 18, 2017 That exact command line doesn't seem to work with or without quotations. Retroarch doesn't even launch Quote
neil9000 Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 yeah apologies, I edited my post as I missed a part. Quote
