Nocta
Hi there, I'm a new (and very happy) premium user of Launchbox and now that my setup starts to be nice, I'd like to share it with my friends but I don't want to give them the premium features because that would be uncool for the developers so I wonder if you think it would be fine to share a setup without the license.xml file? Thanks in advance.
Lordmonkus
Yeah, that's perfectly fine. I have done this myself for friends, loaded up a USB stick with everything setup and removed the license.xml file and they were good to go.
Nocta
Nice. This makes me want to build a portable arcade system based on a NUC or something like that. Bring some controllers, plug it anywhere and play!
Lordmonkus
If it's just gonna be your NUC or whatever you use to take to your friends and then take it home with you again when you leave you can leave the license file on it. The only thing you can't do is give your friends the license.xml file.
Nocta
Agreed, I was just dreaming of a personal portable launchbox config but that is indeed a different story.

Nocta
Why didn't I find Launchbox earlier? Seriously, it's so amazing.
HapHzrd
Agreed. I spent a ton of time manually configuring other front ends. I wish I had that time back. :-) It is encouraging to see developers actively involved with the community and implementing requests. I will happily support developers like this.
