The Chaos Maker Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 When I try to download videos and others forms of media from EmuMovies inside of LaunchBox It says, "Could not download file: The remote server returned a error: (404) Not Found." I tried it on a different computer and it worked fine. I am not sure if it is a EmuMovies problem, LaunchBox problem or a anti-virus software problem. Both computers have different anti-virus software. Is there a possible solution? Quote
Retro808 Posted March 4, 2018 Posted March 4, 2018 On the pc you got the error did you try it without the antivirus being on? Doubtful it is a Launchbox or Emumovies issue since you were able to download on another pc. I just tested a few games on a couple of my machines and no issues. Quote

vital74 Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 it looks like they are moving their FTP srver up at emumovies. I have this issue too, i hope it will get resolved on their side, but maybe the adress isn't the same any more.... Quote
Retro808 Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Is this happening every time you try to import? If you edit a single game and try to download media does it not work there as well? I have been importing new stuff the last few days and no issues getting media from Emumovies. Quote
neil9000 Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 Launchbox doesn't use the emumovies ftp, it uses the emumovies sync api. So them changing the ftp wont make any difference to Launchbox. Quote

vital74 Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 It's weird, videos do download OK, but the artwork do a 404 error. I really hope this will be sorted soon, as I'm doing my C64 collection and there is a ton of games that have no entry in the LB datavase, but have artwork on emumovies. Quote

Ricardo Porto Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 (edited) Hi guys, I'm facing a weird issue when downloading Metadata and Media. I imported the ROMs successfully. When I try to download the metadata for these ROMs, the Launchbox searches and finds nothing, despite shows up a successful update message. But, if I search metadata individually for a specific ROM (Edit - Download Images/Media option), Launchbox download all the Artwork, videos, etc. Is there a way to fix that? I'm using the latest beta version, and a free account of EmuMovies... Thanks in advanced. Cheers, Ricardo EDIT: using the option "Download and Replace All Metadata" worked like a charm!
