The stupid question: what high should be the pixels to get the best quality of the printing....?

Does anyone have the marquee for the Sega game "Flicky" from 1984?  All I can find is a very low res version that looks terrible blown up on my marquee screen.  I love this game but the poor quality scan is making me crazy.
