Hi all,

I want to know if replacing Mame with Retroarch core FBA libretto 2012 or FBA libretto is a good idea ?

I want to use retroarch shader in Arcade games for better rendering.

Thanks.

You could just use the Mame core or HLSL shaders in stand alone Mame.

Just switching from Mame to FBA could be very hit or miss on your games working, they are different rom sets even though there is a lot of crossover.

Ok thanks. I have some roms that are not working with mama Chasehq for example... Roms are from the MAME set 0.197.

If I swithc form mae for Fba the mame's playlist are recreated automatically or I have to do this manually ?

To be perfectly honest I don't know. You could import your games using Mame as the emulator and generate the playlists and then switch the emulator over to FBA afterwards.

ChaseHQ works very much OK, with mame. I even made a bezel with gear shift on screen. If u get error that files are missing ,then just find them.
