damageinc86
Yeah you gotta get the one that is just a zip file. And put it in an emulators folder, or something else, outside of that appdata place. I just have an emulators folder I put in the launchbox root directory for easy access since I'm in there all the time.
rb79
Yeah I found one of the nightlys in the buildbot page. Everything extracting and working. Except it's not detecting roms. *Sigh* I'll make a post when I get it working.
rb79
Alright weirdly enough RA only adds the bootlegs and hacks to a playlist, but finally I got Portable RetroArch running along with the cores and the games. Re-add Retroarch to LB, everything looks good, and start up a game. Nothing. Seriously don't know what to do at this point. Now Retroarch and Launchbox are in the same directory but still nothing changed.

Right click and delete it, and start again. Setup retroarch first.

I meant it automatically created a fba collection inside of RA itself, although it wasn't really important. Roms are finishing up...
rb79
HELL YEAH! FINALLY IT WORKS So apparently I actually skipped a major step in the process, I rewatched the video and instead of just listening I watched it entirely. Turns out I didn't assign the platform any emulator as seen in the video. I thought setting up the emulator by itself was enough. Well, at the end of the day the only problem I had was myself. Kinda like life Thanks everyone for your help, especially the portable RA stuff (Has way more features than the installer ver).

The "Default" checkbox isnt checked, why? Did you uncheck whilst troubleshooting? or was you using something else prior that is still the default? Just saying.
