Editing Game info leads to No Game Selected

This just started happening a few minutes ago, Launchbox has never acted like this before.  When I edit game info and click ok, the details side panel says 'No game selected' instead of showing the game info.  I have to click on another game and back on the previous game to get the details info to show up again.  I have restarted Launchbox and even restarted my pc and it keeps doing this.  Is there a Launchbox setting that affects this that I might have accidentally selected?  The only thing I've done recently was loaded a core in Retroarch for the NES platform.

Steps:

1) Select a game in Launchbox, click the "i" to show the game details.  Side panel with detail info appears showing all the demographic info of the game.

2) Click the pencil icon (Edit) on this details side panel, and the Edit Game dialog box opens up.

3) Make some changes to the game's info, or download some images, or even do nothing at all but just click the OK button

4) The Edit Game dialog box closes, and back on Launchbox, the game is still selected as the green highlight bar is still showing on the game's box.  However, the side panel with the game's detail info is now just showing 'No game selected'.

5) this is now happening for all my platforms, and not just for the NES platform that I had just started working on.

One note, if when I'm at the Edit Game dialog box I click the 'Cancel' button instead of the 'OK' button, the dialog box closes and back on Launchbox, the game's details does show on the details side panel, instead of 'No game selected'.  So this is working as it should be and how its been acting for months for me.  I just know that when I used to click the 'OK' button it also went back to showing the selected game's details, not this 'No game selected' that it is doing now.

Any help is appreciated.  Thanks

Did you recently update your Launchbox version? As far as I know it has always done that if you do not have the game details showing by default. Part of the reason I stopped keeping the details off. When I updated I wanted to see the details without having to click off the game then back. That could have changed since I last did this, but I do know it is not something new.

If you have the game details already showing if you edit the game you see the game details screen switch to "No Game Selected" while you edit the game. Once you finish editing you can see Launchbox refresh the data and it shows the update.

No recent update.  I am on Launchbox 10.6 and have been since it was released.  And yes, I do see 'no game selected' in the background when I am editing a game, and when done and click OK, it is supposed to refresh the data and show all the updated details but it isnt doing that.  It just stays on 'No game selected'.

I did more testing though and it is the oddest thing.  This bizarre behavior of staying on 'No game selected' after editing game data is only happening for the first four games of each platform.  I go edit data for the fifth game (or any other game besides the first four) and click the OK button and it does things correctly and refreshes and updates the info and it shows the correct game details, not 'No game selected'.  I go to SNES, first four games do this 'No game selected' schtick, go to Genesis, first four games do this 'No game selected', even go to Windows (which I am not using Retroarch for), and first four games do the same thing.  It is so bizarre.  Every other game besides these first four on each platform then acts normally, showing the correct game details after editing.

I guess if only four games per platform are acting strangely, then I can live with that.  It's just very strange...

This sounds like an odd threading issue. I made a change recently to show No Game Selected while editing games in order to prevent images from being in use (which would cause issues if you attempted to delete them). I haven't been able to replicate this on my systems, but I'll see if there's anything I can do.
