Hi

I have a list in launchbox "all" where I have all the games, but when I go in to it in BigBox I can only see 10 games, though it says Total games 2776 games.

I thauth that I make another playlist with all the games that I also named "all" but its the same with that one. Also one problem with bouth of them is that I cant edit or delete them, only add.

And I dont even know if thay are playlist. They show up in Launch box, in "playlists", "platforms" "platform categories" and more that you can chuse from. But in som it only showes on "all".

I have made two other playlist with my and my husbends name and there we can se the games we have added there.

What is wrong?

very interested in this as well, I have games that show in launchbox but not big box, and was just digging for an answer as well. And no they are not marked as hidden. :) Area 51 is the game currently annoying me by not showing in big box.

In Big Box go to the system menu (Esc when Big Box is first loaded), select options and go to the General tab. There are several options in there that hide game's for various reasons. Please ensure that one of them is not causing your issue.

Please share a few pics.

1) Share a pic of your General settings in BigBox like @C-Beats showed.

2) Share a pic of your \Launchox\Data folder (looking for a pic that show the contents of that folder.

3) Share a pic of your \Launchox\Data\Playlists folder (looking for a pic that show the contents of that folder.

4) Choose a game that is not showing in BigBox and right click on it then choose edit. Share a pic of the full "Edit Game" screen that appears.

Pics are usually very helpful to see if we can spot a setting or something missing.

@Vargtand I do not see anything odd in the images that would explain why you have games not showing. Try removing that "All.xaml" file from the playlist folder and restarting BigBox. Do not delete it, just move it completely out of Launchbox folder structure.

As far as why Aliens Vs Predator is not working that usually means you do not have the correct bios files. Capcom games require a qsound.zip or qsound_hle.zip if you romset is newer than I believe 0.186 for them to work. Do you have a full romset of mame games or did you download individual roms?

Ok thanks,

I Will test removing the file and se if it works. I got al of the games from a friend that also have an arcade running. I can check with him if his are working.

Can it also be if i have games marked as broken? Dont they show up?

I can get to all of the games though in bigbox by goinh in to that list where you can juse option but juse "wiew all games" i think it is. But i want to have them so i can juse from playlists. So it Will be easy for anyone to play a game. So they wont have to know where to look for all the games.

Well if you have them marked broken you image shows you have BigBox set to show broken games. So would probably not be the issue.

Keep in mind mame roms should match their mame version. So if you got roms from someone and they are from and old mame rom set and you are running a new version of Mame that can/will cause issues. Mame gets updated and sometimes roms and rom support files do as well. So your roms should come from a set that the version always matches or is as close to the version of mame you are using.

Mabe I should try and se if I can play the games by starting them in Launchbox instead of Bigbox. I havent removed the file yet, but I will when I get home from work. ?

If a game requiers for ex. a gun will it still start up but you cant use the gun function?

We finelly got it to work. I dont know if it had to do with removing the All.xaml file or I just descovered that i should acctually klick enter when Im on the playlist i wanne juse. I only saw the games that where reasently played before you acctually go in to the list. :D I dont know if that made any sens but I think that is fixed now ?

But there are still the problem with many games not working. So how can I solv this? Is it to find the correct #bios files" each game? or is there a quicker way? like search for them thrue launchbox?
