Alan Bun Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 I have a brand new PC and want to reimport all my old LaunchBox data over. I moved the entire LaunchBox folder to my external hard drive, containing all the downloaded metadata, as a lot of my games didn’t automatically download, so it took me a good few days to get it all set up initially. Is it as easy as moving my LaunchBox folder back to my PC, or is it a bit more complicated than that? im hoping to don’t need to go through all the data individually and can just use all my previously backed up data. Thanks in advance. Quote
Lordmonkus Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 Copying it over should work just fine, especially if you have all your emulators and roms in sub folders of your Launchbox folder. Quote
DeadVoivod Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 And make sure the drive letter is the same. Quote

If everything is in the Launchbox folder then relative paths will be being used so drive letter wont matter. Drive letter only matters if you have things not in the Launchbox folder as a full path is then used and not a relative one. Quote
DeadVoivod Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 But some emulators might be set up differently to use specific paths f.ex. Quote
