Bezel Project - loading other bezels

The Bezel Project app will load just bezels that are part of the project right? 

Or is it able to load up other bezels that one has downloaded such as from this forum?

The Bezel Project installers, both for Windows and Retropie, only install bezels that are part of the project on Github.

dragon57, really appreciate your work on the Bezel Project, nice to have bezels that maximize screen size and look great.

When the installer installs bezels, does it check for existing bezels or just dumps all of them for said system? The reason I ask is because for MAME I already had bezels for a lot of games, but some where hand added from Mr. Do's collection that included artwork that have dynamic elements, lamps, gear shifters, etc. I wouldn't want to run and update of Bezel Installer and over write those. I know there are ways around that, just curious if the installer checked.

The app creates a backup for native MAME called artwork_BPSave in the same MAME directory. I wish there was an easy way of having the app successfully combine things, but I haven't been able to do that yet.

Is there a mechanism for submitting additions/changes without needing to use git and PRs?

I've modified a few layout files like Star Castle to add color overlays within the bezel, so it's not just an either or option like now.

Some use Git to provide a download link(s) and which repo the files are submitted for. Some others use the official Facebook group. Members of the group can provide the same type of info after being approved for membership. https://www.facebook.com/groups/169088950389693/
