socren439 Posted September 26, 2020 Share Posted September 26, 2020 Hi, I am trying to get the Dinosaur King arcade games working for my demul segasp. Every time it says there is a missing file which changes sometimes, unable to find 'mda-c0047.chd' in romset dinoki25 for example. I'm not really sure what to do since there hasn't been any tutorials for this game etc. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated as i don't know much about emulating arcade games on windows D: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you do not have the CHD the game wont work. For games like that you need the rom file AND the CHD file, the CHD is a disk image that has most of the games data in it. I thought dinoki25 was that version: Arcade Database What version of Demul are you using? I tried to test but I don't see the Sega SP option in my version, 180428, and several others I tried. I'm using the latest version of demul, i'm gonna try to see if i can get the others working but it doesn't look like i'm having any luck. I literally can't find them on any site. Can you be specific to the 2 other games you are trying to run? Using the CHD from the mame set, dinoki25 ran fine. Are you sure you have added the path to the CHD location in Demul? mda-c0047.chd should be in the folder named dinoki25 and demul should include the path to the directory that holds the folder dinoki25. (Why I didn't see it) Yeah dinoki25 works just fine because it has the CHD with it, the dinokior is missing the CHD file so it won't run and i don't know where to find it and i just got dinoking working, turns one of the files had been lost somewhere but it's all good now.
