I downloaded launch box, installed retroarch , downloaded the ROMs and none of them will open. The pictures there, the art work, graphics whatever you want to call it but when I click on it it looks like it's going to load and then nothing happens. I want to get big box, but none of this is working and don't want to pay for it until I can figure all this out. I've tried opening it with Mame and retroarch and none of these games will open what am I doing wrong? I realize that I'm probably the thousandth person to ask this question but any help would be appreciated. DOS76 Posted February 18, 2021 Share Posted February 18, 2021 Okay 1st things first if you can't get them to work in RetroArch then that is the 1st issue you have to deal with as they'll never work in LB if they don't work there1st. How did you actually import the games to Launchbox, did you use the MAME fullset importer? As, as of 11.9 you have to have a actual MAME emulator to run that import, it does not work with Retroarch. Also i would not recommend Retraoarch for MAME, just stick to the actual emulator. And finally i see in one of your images you have the 0.193 merged romset, you will HAVE to use the 0.193 version of the standalone MAME emulator if you actually want games to work.
