Mame window

When i start a mame rom in launchbox, the window does not cover my entire screen. Any thoughts on how to correct this?

What do you mean exactly ? Do you mean Mame is opening in windowed mode or do you mean that the gameplay screen is not filling in all the black space ?

Mame is opening in widowed mode.

Turn Window Mode Off.

• Open MAME
• Select Configure Options
• Select Video Options
• Select Window Mode and set it to Off

• Hit Escape
• Select Save Configuration  (this is important, or all is lost)
• Hit Escape
• Exit MAME
• Return to LaunchBox
• Play games

Or you can edit the mame.ini file and look for the following section and set window to 0 instead of 1.

I had the same issue. HOwever, when I go ito mame options,VIDEO, there are only 2 settings, neither of them let me change windowed or full screen. Neither did going to tools>manage emulators> then I added -window to the command line in launchbox not working. Finally I did edit the mame.ini file in the mame root directory and set window to 1 rather than zero.  This finally fixed it. If anyone reads this, do the opposite if u want ful screen, set it to 0

For the record, I am using the base command line mame.exe, maybe this is why I had no video options in mame itself. The screenshot of the guy in an earlier post did not match my mame video setting at all.
