jspudz
Hey all first off FANTASTIC job on this software. I purchased premium and could not be happier, its really made setting up my home arcade soooo much easier. I have everything working 100% except for NeoGeo. I did attempt at reading all posts I could find on this subject before posting this, and from my searching none really provided an answer that worked for me. So here is my situation with NeoGeo. I have added my neogeo games to Launchbox(version 12.6) via the add import roms following an older guide from ETA prime (good stuff there). I have my neogeo.zip bios file in the games directory where I imported the neogeo game roms. (FYI in his video it detects the bios and does not add it as a game...in my import it detects it as a game again just FYI) Following the advice on this forum I first tested it using Retroarch and I am able to play neogeo games buy using the FBAlpaha 2012 NeoGeo core in the retroarch UI. So for example here is the core I select: Then I am able to load the content as seen here: In Launchbox I see my game. However when I double click it NOTHING happens. So below I have posted my Associated Platforms and Emulation tab information. In my arcade I used the default naming platform of "SNK Neo Geo AES". (Also tried using a custom name with the same result fyi) Associated Platform: Emulation tab for MetalSlug: So all games appear in launchbox and everything "looks" normal. However when I try to launch the game from Launchbox nothing happens. No pop-ups, no errors nadda. I also tried changing to the other cores for testing, but nothing worked in retroarch except the one pictured above. Any ideas on what I have done wrong here? All the other systems imported so easily, yet this one has given me all sorts headaches. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

If i had to guess, you have your Retroarch entry in Launchbox set to unzip roms before loading, that will break Neo Geo as all arcade systems need the zips to stay that way and not be unzipped.
