Android update fails

Hi,

I am trying to use the built in update function to update from 1.0 (downloaded from LB website) but it fails when running, see attached Java error.

This happens on Retroid Pocket 2+ and Anbernic RG552 running different versions of Android.

Any idea how to update?

Any chance of having the latest version available to download directly from website instead of this update method?

Cheers.

If necessary, you can always download the latest version from the website. Installing the latest version will update and will not remove your games or settings.

There are issues with those two specific devices; they have not implemented Android properly and thus the updater is not fully working with them.

How come you don't have launchbox to download through Google play store?

Google's over-bearing rules and regulations on the Play Store have made that impossible. We tried being on the Play Store years ago and it literally ruined and killed the entire project. Not being on the Play Store was the honestly the best decision we've ever made for Android.
