chunk12784
I could have sworn Famicom and Super Famicom had it's own platforms on Launchbox but I guess not. I can make custom console platforms for them. But I ran into a much bigger problem today. Not only are Famicom and Super Famicom still not here any time I try to import new games I'm only allowed to choose from Platforms I already had set up. I think I broke Launchbox? Any idea how I go about cleaning this mess? EDIT And its gotten worse i cant even import for platforms I have I try and this thing pops up Edited April 29, 2022 by chunk12784 new info
Lordmonkus
You should still be able to manually type in the platform name when you import, not just choose from what is in the drop down list. Just make sure that your new platform is added to the associated platforms list in the edit emulator window for the emulator you wish to use with that platform. C-Beats
Your metadata file appears to be corrupted. To correct to go Tools > Download > Force download Games database metadata to download a fresh file and that should correct itself.
DeadVoivod
I had the same problem some time ago and it worked out with exactly what C-Beats suggest here, just force metadata download.
