How do you change emulators?

I know Launchbox will pick often retroarch as main emulator, and will at, times ask for an emulator inside retroarch to within retroarch.

Why I as I setting up Sega Naomi it picks retroarch, but the suggested core was not the optimum and pick 2048.

And there seems no way to change the core or emulator

This is hopeless, twice have tried to change emulator to run Sega Niomi and in no way csn get ut running and twice stuffed up launchbox trying to change emulators and not working and stuffed running anything else, seems it picks default emulators, get it wrong and your screwed. Its just to far above my head to ve able ti change emulators and this program there us not very user friendly. Annoyed twice had to deleted and renstall the whole thing.

Its just to complex and needs a full guide on how to do this.

We have a lot of tutorials on the YouTube channel.

If you think Launchbox is difficult then you clearly have not tried any of the other frontends out there.

Edit a game and change its emulator. Make sure that the platform the game is under is added to the associated platform section of that emulator in the manage emulators screen.

Changing emulators is one of the easiest things to do. As Monkus already advised you just need to right click and edit the game. Under "Emulation" select the emulator. That is it. You can select as many games as you want and bulk edit them.

You do need to make sure in the >Tools >Manage >Emulators that you edit the emulator and ensure the platform's name is listed in the emulators "Associated Platforms" field.

Maybe share some pics of the steps you are taking. We may be able to see what you are doing wrong.
